Donald Trump is facing calls to undergo a "mental health assessment" after receiving swift backlash over a late-night meltdown in which he targeted ABC and NBC, threatening to have the news networks' licenses revoked.

The president was left raging on Sunday evening after tuning into the latest episode of ABC's This Week With George Stephanopoulos. During the program, ABC's Jonathan Karl reported on the FBI searches at former Trump national security advisor John Bolton’s home and office, as well as the state of a meeting the president had proposed between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Trump appeared to have been left furious by the program as he took aim at both men in a scathing rant on his Truth Social platform. The president wrote: "I just watched Sloppy Chris Christie be interviewed on a ratings challenged 'News' Show, 'This Week With George Slopadopolus,' on ABC Fake News (By the way, what the 'hell' happened to Jonathan Karl’s hair? He looks absolutely terrible!"

Somebody needs to tell dumpletits he has no legal authority over news networks.

It long past time for MAGA and their terrorist leader to be held absolutely accountable.

What makes this rant any different than other meltdown rants? That the man has a severe personality disorder is well known. The real problem is the msm keeps giving him what he craves most……attention. Cut him off and maybe he’ll kill himself.
 
Not sure whatt meltdown you're referring to. "Personality disorder". Sure, he has that. He's also an idiot. I do completely agree with cutting off any and all attention. That won't happen of course, because Trump is gold for viewership...like a train wreck.
 

Exactly...his office gives him full access to media coverage anytime he wants, a stage in the spotlight anytime he wants, a pulpit to rage and rant from anytime and he cant be "cancelled.'

IMO that's the one thing TACO wanted/wants most of all: attention and the platform on which to expound on his authority and "greatness." He's not even hiding it. He's hinting at things being named after him, he's not hiding his need for a NPP, he's desperate to preserve a "powerful, successful legacy" (and he knows that's failing), he's wearing a hat that states it clearly, he demands a military parade on his birthday, etc.
