Is Trump planning to run away? Don't know why he would go to Scotland - the Scots don't like him but his mother was born in Scotland.

Donald Trump could be planning Turnberry trip as Scots airport told to expect a high-flyer

Prestwick airport has been told to expect the arrival of a US military Boeing 757 aircraft, that is occasionally used by Trump, on January 19 – the day before his Democratic rival takes charge at the White House.

Speculation surrounding Trump’s plans has been fuelled by the activity of US Army aircraft, which were based at Prestwick airport for a week and said to be carrying out 3D reconnaissance of the president’s Turnberry resort.

Sources at Prestwick said two US military surveillance aircraft were circling Turnberry in November, using the Ayrshire aviation hub as a base.

Haven't we been told time and time again about Trump's prowess as a businessman, a big winner all of the time - right?

Article from Oct 2019 indicates something is a bit off about Trump's Scottish golf courses and resorts

Trump’s Scottish golf resort loses money for seventh year in a row
a more recent article (2 Jan 2021) tells us that he is still losing money at these resorts.
Trump’s European Golf Resorts Have Lost About $90 Million

Maybe he's not running away to Scotland, maybe he's sending the plane and a few troops to gather up things that he wishes to keep as personal items. Why shouldn't taxpayers pay for him to send a plane across to Scotland for a pick-up and delivery job, probably back to Palm Beach?

I would imagine Scotland has an extradition agreement with the US, should he be convicted of anything. But if he goes on the 19th, maybe the idea I've seen that he resigns so that Pence can pardon him, holds up?

Gotta use AF1 while it still has that call sign........shrug:

Ruh Ro..............

Do we have an extradition treaty with Scotland? I'd expect him to be in Saudi Arabia before President Biden is inaugurated.

It’s just a quick stop to pick up a few pallets of cash that he hid in the walls of the resort before flying to Riyadh.
