Umm, so here’s the thing. That tariff money that Donald thinks we “made” is actually paid by US citizens.
He wants a bail out for farmers, and that will mean they are in “great shape”.
Needing a bail out says that they are not in great shape at all.

We aren’t “making money” on tariffs. We are “taking money” from ourselves. Tariffs are taxes, paid by US importers and US citizens.

Why do we need to bailout farmers? Oh, right - trade uncertainty and higher costs…because…of…tariffs. Full circle trump idiocy.

Did he forget the whole stupid bullshit idea was that tariffs would force manufacturers to build plants overnight rather than the many years it usually takes, thereby shifting lower-paying manufacturing jobs back to America and higher-paying service jobs overseas (since we'll need people to screw in tiny screws in iphone factories, remember)?

Tariffs and duties are already collected. No need for any new government agency.
Those revenues are not coming from foreign sources. No need for any new government agency.
We do not have any mechanism to "charge" other countries anything.
We have trade. They buy our products, or they don't. We buy theirs, or we don't.
Free trade has been a marvelous driver of growth and prosperity around the world.
That will continue with us or without us.
