DOJ ends defense of "pistol brace rule".

True dat. You can never seem to get an honest answer from that side of the aisle. I am kind of surprised that he didn't ask Chat GPT about a B61-13.

I had to look that up. :)

Those- or those like them- he often complains he can't buy at Walmart.

Why did you ask about the GAU-8 specifically, when the video referred to a M-61?

Why did you reference a video on the M-61 specifically when we were talking about a GAU-8? Are you OK the infringements on your right to one but not the other?

But regardless, my impression is that neither one would be legal. But then again, what do I know? I am just a dumb liberal. I need you strong, manly, intelligent, conservative, second amendment types to show me how it's done. Show me how free you are to exercise your second amendment rights- in downtown Vegas. Thanks!

Well, what's wrong with them being sold at Walmart? I still don't have an answer, except: nothing is wrong with it.

So then what's the problem?

I don't own a pistol. I was speaking hypothetically. I live in Canada. I'd not bother with the paperwork for a pistol, let alone figure out the legalities of a brace. I'm speaking as an American, if I were to own a pistol while in my home in America, and I wanted to brace it, I should be able to.

I also disagree with your characterization about the function and purpose of a pistol or firearm, but I will not be drawn into that discussion here or elsewhere.
Canada has some strange rules - they allow short barreled shotguns and rifles that America thinks are too dangerous to own.
