I just ran across this story and it looks shaky, (that’s why it’s here.) This would be genius move, if true. It will get the natives restless. They’re already calling for impeachment for the judges that had the gall to pause DOGE actions.

It doesn’t show on the list, but it wouldn’t take much to keep a lid on it?

Crickey, there’s a game in there somewhere!

If I watch the game and see an edolf twittler ad, we're going back to kid shows. That shit gets no play in my ride. I'll give Deplorean ads a pass, as that's not completely edolf, and I expect at this point, Deplorean in general feels more saddled by him than supportive of him.

NFL owners have banned both teams communicating with fans on Bluesky because, of all reasons, the League owners have not approved of Bluesky. We know Bluesky is the antheses to Musk and his X platform of propaganda and lies.

The NFL risks alienating fans and accusations of “running scared” from Donald Trump and Elon Musk ahead of Super Bowl LIX after it banned teams from posting on X rival Bluesky, say industry watchers. But neither team is allowed to connect with American football fans on Bluesky, which has 30m users, because the league has refused to approve the social media platform. “Given Trump’s alliance with Musk, any migration away from X will likely incur the wrath of Republicans,” Simon Chadwick, professor of sport and geopolitical economy, told City AM.

Alas, the country keeps spinning out of control since January 20th when Trump took the oath of office then wiped his arse with it. Same as Trump did on Jan. 20, 2017.

A call to slow DOGE actions are likely due to the fact that non elected non clearanced personnel are trying to gain access to highly confidential material.

Do we just let any rich non born person of the USA access to private and secure, possibly classified information?

We have a Constitution to follow. Or at least, we should.

Money is king. If you don't pay homage to the king you'll end up in the dungeon.

I agree with you. When it is all boiled down, the US Constitution is but a piece of old paper. We adhere to it because we agree to. Just like the rule of law which comes from it.

Everybody knows the SuperBowl is all about the commercials. Some years they've been entertaining and others, well, not so much. I hope Musk did the adds. One, it shows he gives a damn about what he's doing, whether you agree or not with what he's doing. Second the American public deserves to know how the government is spending/wasting our tax dollars on damn fool foreign social agenda. The worst of it isn't it looks like a lot of stupid expenditures but where did the money actually go? Well over $400 billion, almost half a trillion dollars and with our debt we don't need to be spending it on drag shows and trans opera's. IF that's you kind of thing OK, but not with our tax dollars. I think it's obvious to anyone with half a brain, this money was spent supporting liberal causes and hiring liberal/progressives to pay with our tax dollars for political reasons and not for "aid". Almost none of this money went to "conservative" social policy so it's obvious what this is about. Progressive, pay offs to the far left, NGO's.

You beleieve corruption is new or limited to liberals? The government needs a good swift kick in the ass. The only good I see come out of this is the Congress gets their head out of their ass and attempt to fix the spending/debt issues due to the exposure the issue has gotten. There are remedies in the Constitution for this. Those remedies don’t include a bunch of secret ninjas digging around in the system. I don’t see Musk as altruistic…….

This is inappropriate. Politics does not belong in the Superbowl.

Musk and Trump need to be banned from being anywhere near professional sports.

Why bother? Trump is going to be at the game (I hear) and doing an interview.

And Super Bowl ad spots are very expensive.

The NFL (and refs) is already corrupt.

Tell me you didn’t bother to read the article…..

One reason Trump is the first president to attend the Super Bowl is that the ticket prices have been slashed. It doesn't matter much anyway given wherever Trump sits it's for people on the cheap. Their main reason to show up for free is the burgers.

Fifty-yard-line tickets to the Super Bowl cost nearly 60% less on the resale market as a week ago/

On Gametime, the cheapest seats to the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans are available for $4,627, down from $6,492 last week—with the highest-priced tickets now going for $23,693 instead of $56,409 each.

On Vivid Seats, Super Bowl tickets are available for $3,152 to $21,004. In 2024, Gametime's cheapest Super Bowl ticket tumbled from $9,400 two weeks out to $7,100 the day of the game—a 24% drop.

......

This is the 10th Super Bowl in New Orleans so there are people who have been there, done that. Also last year's game in Las Vegas had more appeal than the game itself -- and New Orleans this year is all fenced off due to security. All of this is since Trump got elected again. The suddenly diminished Super Bowl is a metaphor for MagaMerica in its rapid decline.

I doubt that will happen.
Congress has created the mess. The voters keep allowing it.
A president can't do crap without the support of congress. Anything a president does is very limited and temporary.

Of the ads that I noticed about 1 in 7 were funny/good. Very disappointing commercials. 25 years ago must have been the golden age. Today... they suck.
