It was my understanding that the "Theology" sub-forum was supposed to be that place. The stated rules at the top of that sub-forum say so. However, in practice, that is anything but the case.

Today I created a thread in that sub-forum and it was immediately destroyed by trolls. I didn't respond to the trolls and instead reported the offending posts as instructed in the TOS.

Thus far, as far as I can tell, nothing has been done to enforce the rules of that sub-forum and to protect it as a place for quality, on-topic, discussion.

And so my question is, does this community actually want a sub-forum dedicated to serious discussion of religious matter that is free from trolling?

I have other places I go to when I want to discuss Christianity. Primarily its a Discord channel that is focused on the topic.

As do I. I enjoy the opportunity to share and learn with others. It appears that the rules of the Theology sub-forum are ignored by more than just offending participants.

You need to post in Theology. There are rules to prevent the trolling.

We rarely delete posts. Just because the posts are there doesn't mean that action wasn't taken.
