You can roll all the heads that you wish but the basic problem remains the same; more folks are eligible for VA care than the VA care system can handle. Whether the VA patient waiting lists are kept secret or not does not shorten them at all. The answer, as always, will be to borrow and spend more on the same failed gov't run system.
 

This just highlights the utter incompetence of govt. And Obama is pushing the same crap. Of course, the solution will be to tax and spend. Thats what democrats do.

Everything the government is involved in sucks. Ever notice that? There is always a ton of red tape involved in everything that has to do with government. No wonder why people are dying while waiting for appointments.

Indeed. I treat patients with mental illness everyday. In depression, the most dangerous times are when the patient is starting his meds, and coming off of them-because they are still depressed, but have more energy and resolve to hurt themselves. This EXACT window is where these patients were delayed. Yes, its possible they would have committed suicide even if they had received care, but to as a matter of policy restrict follow up during this period is unforgivable.

Exactly. Public schools, public bathrooms, the DMV. This is what govt gets you, and since they have you by the balls and dont have to compete for your business they could care less about improving their service.

I hate going to the DMV. Any government run organization is dreadful, the employees are usually awful too. They act as if they're doing you some kind of a favor or something. :roll:
