Is your congressperson or Senator listening to you especially when it comes to immigration?

apparantly no, I sent a long harsh letter to my congressman about immigration and he must not of read because he voted for the bill.

I know what you mean. I have been sending email and faxes to the President and about 8 Senators every week and it hasn't made a change in what they are going to do.

They know what the people are saying, I sent one to all them last night that we American voters know they know what we expect and that they are closing their ears to us and it will cost them their job next fall. But I for one will not give up and May 1st will back fire for those illegals anyway

But is your opinion really "informed" ??
Do you know the full ramifications of what you are saying ?
Are you being realistic or idealistic ??
Are you affected in any way by the immigrants ?

BTW, if a man were to ask me these these questions, I would have to say a resounding NO!!, except for the last question (I do not know for certain).
The fruit and vegetable pickers do work hard ,for low pay; this I probably do pay less for produce......

And what I do support is one language, ENGLISH !, not Mexican.....

More men must participate in politics, particularily on the local level, bad things happen when a man trusts others.....

I suppose Jane Harman would listen to me...but I'd have to pin a $10,000 bill on my hat first.

No, if you don't have money, they won't listen to you. Fact of life.

yes yes yes yes.

I could care less about this immigration bullshit. People are making a big deal about a non-issue. Unless you are a Native American, we are all immigrants. I don't see a problem with undocumented workers unless it has to do with the company's that keep hiring undocumented workers. But this is what we get for being the land of opportunity.

This perceived problem will fix itself. Since our elected officials don't really care about Americans, their willing just to sit around and talk about a whole bunch of stuff they don't do, while this country is becoming a third world nation.

Politicians are loyal to corporate America that outsources our jobs to places like India. The time could come when we don't have any jobs for people to immigrate too.
