In order to see the child coming out of her private parts, he is going to get a view of her private parts. Doesn't matter how he sees them.
He has no right to see them again, just because he's seen them before.
Yeah it appears women have a lot of rights.
They have the right to not have the baby even if the man wants his child.
They have the right to have the baby even when the man doesn't want the child and force the man to pay child support for it.
They have the right to have the child and put it up for adoption denying the father the right to his own child.
And now she has the right not to have the father in the delivery room when giving birth.
Here's hoping in the near future a few judges remember men have rights too.
There is only one I don't believe that women should have and in reality, they don't totally have, and that's putting the child up for adoption. But unfortunately, some women are bitches who will lie and claim they have no idea who the father is and the adoption agencies are more interested in making money, than doing the right thing. It sucks, but life isn't always fair. The rest are due to the nature of having children, and men and women's natural parts in having those children.
Why would he not be able to see his own child? Unless he's some sort of criminal offender, he should have the right to see HIS child.
It's his child too!
What the HELL......!?
haha niiiice, I LOVE chick parm its probably my fav
and i agree with you
i have no idea how anybody comes to any other conclusion, i get the emotion but rights dont care about peoples feelings
in this situation nobody gets to see a womans privates against her will, how anybody could ever think otherwise is beyond me.
also if he just wanted to be in the corner of the room that also HER choice, she is exposed in there and going through medical situations, all her own business and privacy, he does NOT get to force himself in the room against his will.
He doesn't have a right and I agree with that. He has (and should have) the right to be at the hospital and see the baby as soon as it's practical, but he doesn't have a right to be in the delivery room.
Of course not. It's only his child.
They should keep stripping men and fathers of rights. Maybe some of them will get a clue and not tie themselves down and slit their own throats.

We have these things called mirrors, you may have heard of them. As far as seeing her private parts, his already plowed that territory.

Who said he couldn't SEE his child?
nobody is stopping him from seeing the child, please reread the OP and thread
My reply was simply to the OP's general question, not the case in the article.
You know, this question:
"So do you think the father has a legal right to see his baby born or be in the room?"

Not until it's fully out of her womb it ain't. You can hope it is and you can imagine it is, but truth is, it's no one's baby but the mother's til it's birthed. It's his child too! What the HELL......!?

I would think you, as a woman, would be able to appreciate some of the perks that come with privacy laws that allow you to determine who can and can't be present during a medical procedure.
Another interesting thing to think about is that if a patient is diagnosed with cancer, she/he do not have to inform their spouse. This is all because of HIPAA laws. I do not think this man's outrage and hurt feelings are more important than doctor/patient confidentiality, and no man (or woman) has the right to force themselves upon a person who is undergoing a potentially life threatening procedure.
If she had said that he cannot see the baby even after it's birth while in the hospital, then he might have a case, but I don't see where people can argue at all about any uninvited person being in the operating/delivery room against a patient's wishes.

I love comments like yours. It is clearly both their child throughout the entire pregnancy.
