Again, the survey compared gay households with all households. Statistics allows us to extrapolate that into gay singles v all singles. So single gays don't count? Is that your position?

Nationwide, 594,000
same-sex unmarried-partner households
represented 1 percent of all
coupled households.
Which is exactly what I stated previously. Again, simple statistics allows us to extrapolate this data into the remainder of society. *shrug*No, it only compared coupled households....

You need to let the field of statistics know that they can't practice anymore. No, you can't assume anything.
GraphPad Prism 5 Help...statisticians have developed methods based on a simple model: Assume that an infinitely large population of values exists and that your data (your 'sample') was randomly selected from this population. Analyze your sample and use the rules of probability to make inferences about the overall population.

Are you suggesting that the US Census wasn't objective?Statistics can be manipulated without proper methodology.
Tell me, what is the fastest animal on the planet?
Are you suggesting that the US Census wasn't objective?
The Census Bureau simply provides the data. Again, its simple statistics. No, I am suggesting that you aren't objective. The Census bureau didn't make the assumption that you want to.

So what percent gay do you think the US is?
[whiny liberal voice] Prove it, with peer reviewed links. [/whiny liberal voice] :rofl3-7%........

Where? .....CC already provided it.
Where? .....
Those were on a different issue. Maybe I missed where CC "proved" that gays were 3-7%. Or maybe he didn't and you don't have the intellectual honesty to admit that. :2razz:Probably the links you didn't bother to read.
The color of a mirror is silver.I'm OK with gay couples adopting, but I don't think they should be allowed to have pets.

1. You are asking me to prove a negative, which is illogical.
2. The long form US Census study counts people who are in a gay household, then compares this to the total cohabitation households in the US. This survey represents a data set that it in the range of 100 times larger than most studies, and comes up with the 1% figure.

No, its all silver. Are you going to ask for proof now, with links, and peer reviewed? How is that possible? If I wear a red shirt, is that portion of the mirror not red?
Your entire argument is illogical, so this would be consistent for you [1].
[2] Show where on the census form one is asked to identify one's sexual orientation. Asking about cohabitation does not count.
[3] Re-read what I posted about the census form and gays who do not cohabitate. These people were not counted in adding to the percentage of gays. Since only 25%-40% of gays cohabitate, there would be, approximately 3%-7% of gays in the US population.
Please provide evidence of you 1%. Your census evidence has been thoroughly debunked.
Again, one does need to ask about something specifically to glean information about something specific...... No sexual orientation question was asked....
1. The Southern Man scores and ad-hom from Captain "Courtesy". Along with the “’wife beater’ comment (post 233), the score now rests at SM2, CC0.
2. Posts 220 and 224, which wasn’t “debunked” in 231, since you didn’t address it there or otherwise.
3. Post 248 item 2.
