Do you like your life or dislike your life?

This seems the core political issue in elections. I like my life. I like the society my family and I live in. I am satisfied with our economic situation and safety situation. I don't have to worry of government PC or SJW police arresting any of us or trying to destroy our careers and life. The government does not make my healthcare decisions.

Why would I vote for the radical changes the Democratic Party wants? But, then, whenever I hear most Democrats talk, I am hearing malcontent whiners endlessly throwing pity parties for themselves or others - for which the point is always they either want something from other people or want to more control other people.

Endless dooms day paranoia, endless hatred of the USA's history - constantly in fear and fury, emotional firestorms. If they can't whine about their lives, they whine about other people's lives acting like they are victims of other people being victims - always desperate to be or create victims.

If you hate your life, vote for change. If you don't, vote for the status quo. Seems fairly simple. But, then ,I don't buy into the Democratic Party's claim that I have a duty to vote for the best interests of others - others who are to vote for their own self interests.

I will never vote for a party that wants to force me to think that Bruce Jenner is a woman - not only that, but eventually it will be a crime to deny that Bruce Jenner is a woman.

I'd like to delay that as long as possible, so I won't be voting for democrats.

Those who live in other first world countries which consistently beat us in quality of life rankings must really hate their lives. Except that they don't, and neither do those who aren't Tweetyborg. The premise of this thread is dumb.

Do you have kids? Grandkids? I love my life and hope my progeny will too. However, the economic system that created the greatest wealth in the world is the same system that will destroy our way of life if we don't change it. You express perhaps the most selfish of attitudes...I got mine, forget the rest.

By the way, the biggest whiners are those who have benefited from unearned power in our economy and society, and see themselves having to give up a portion of that power (in our culture that would be white people), to share with others who are also deserving.

You would go berserk if Trump tried to adopt the policies of those first world countries. They do not have birth right citizenship. Their wealth predates their opening their borders somewhat. Getting legal right to live and become a citizen in their country if born elsewhere and if you are poor, have no skills and don't speak the language - sneaking in illegally? NONE.

The same if Trump adopted the same adopt the same immigration policies as during the great immigration eras of the 1800s and early 1900s Democrats like to claim, quoting the poem on the statute of Liberty (a poem AGAINST diversity) - white, healthy, summary rejection and deportation and exactly no social safety net or welfare by the government whatsoever. Child labor sweatshop and $1 a day jobs for men. No safety laws. No minimum wage. No insurance. Nothing.

One minute you say the left hates our countries history and the next minute you brag about not caring about your countrymen. What you fail to realize is the very thing that made our country great is the very thing that you negate...and that is caring about others as you would yourself. There but for the grace of God go all of us.

I have kids. Lots of them. It is Democratic policies that have driven this country to it's debt knees and responsible for lose of the USA being the greatest industrial and manufacturing power on earth to being the Chinese and other labor sweatshop labor crap country.

As I stated, as a Democrat you demand that I vote for the best interests of other people, while claiming those people should vote for their own self interests.

White people who hate themselves are just bizarro freaks to me. Hatred of their race, hatred of their country, hatred of their success - no other race or society in world history has ever been like that I can find. However, my past is quite untypical. (BTW, I'm not white and entered adult live at 15 probably with less than anyone on this forum - but a vast improvement of my life for finally being free. The government did nothing for me economically or otherwise, other than this being a relatively safe and free country by comparison.)

You are poor? Aren't crippled physically or mentally? Get a damn job. Be a drug addict lazyass alcoholic breeder? I see NO obligation towards you or your kids. None. Take care of your own life. I took care of mine. Wasn't easy. It took a couple decades. Now I'm no easy street.

I hate excuses for failures. I despise lazyass people. Despise alcoholics and drug addicts. Can't stand thieves. Have zero tolerance for anyone who says they won't take a job because it is below them. If a person won't work unless seriously physically or mentally handicapped, they can freeze or starve to death.

With FREEDOM comes PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. You can't have both. Nothing is really free. "Free" is usually the most expensive of all in the final calculation.

Most Americans, even conservatives, are ridiculously self entitled whiners thinking they were born entitled to everything and everyone else obligated to them and their needs - when no one is born entitled or indebted to anyone.

I voted that I like my life now. But then I can't think of a single time when I didn't like it. Although going through a divorce wasn't exactly a fun time. But even that worked out.

I am significantly better off than my parents, so is my wife. Our parents were significantly better off then their parents but as near as I can tell our grandparents weren’t much better off than their parents and so on.

It seems that there has been a relatively quickening pace of wealth and comfort and we are losing perspective of how well we really are doing. That isn’t to say I think folks are unappreciative, it’s perspective. All of that doesn’t excuse any abuses by some in power or artificially low wages BUT as whole compared to rest of the population on the planet the USA is the 1%.

This road we are heading down of “blaming” someone else for your lot in life isn’t going to work. Demanding support from taxpayers to artificially boost you ahead in the game of life will ultimately fail horribly.

I didn't say any of that. Your assertion that I have to vote against my interests for others, while those others are to vote for their own interests, does not equate to not carrying about my fellow citizens in the slightest. Sob and rant all you want, but I was not born to be your slave working and voting to cover you ass, your bad luck or your failure in life. Live by the consequences of your decisions, by your efforts or by your lack of effort.

I am confident that for at least 99% of you, you all were fantastically lucky to not be born into the circumstances I was. Yet sometimes I now think that taught things none of you ever had to learn. The value of freedom - the greatest value of all - because all you have always had freedom. From what I read, almost all of you grew up in extremely sheltered lives - never wanting for food or housing, never in any real danger, pampered, everything you got as a kid was free.

Yet that is NOT the history of the human race and is not how most people in the world live. You sob and want more, more, more - to always take it from others, want the government to steal for you and those you care about from those you don't - and reject the essence of freedom - personal or economic. It is making the slow downfall of this country. That is what I oppose. I oppose what you want.
