As per "Osama's letter to America" and everything else he ever said, he was miffed at two things. Our troops in Suadi Arabia and the Jews.

If we had dropped Army Rangers into Tora Bora and offed OBL the Islamo freaks would have more amo and feel that much more justified in hating the US.

Less so if the Afgans had rocked him.

My theory? The squirrel that ran the treadmill powering the generator that ran OBL's dialysis machine converted to Judism and beat feet. OBL turned yellow and died slowly and painfully in Tora Bora and in the end praised CICoW.boy and THAT just couldn't get out now could it?

When have I slammed the President for Bin Laden? Bin Laden is a none issue, there are hundreds of "Bin Laden"'s out there. He just happened to be the first successful one and definitely will not be the last.

If I recall, even Russian special forces, Spetnaz, froze to death in the area. And the US is supposed to send troops there to capture Bin Laden?
