And the lefty squad hates Christmas but wouldn't outright vote for as much. Who saw that coming?
There's an ever-so subtle attack on Christmas/Christians happening here. 8)
I'm not saying it was good or bad, right or wrong, just that it happened. That's the history behind most of our supposed "Christian" holidays. They were stolen from some other religion.
Virtually everyone does, Christmas is an almost entirely secular holiday. Most people celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday. Haven't you figured that out yet?
Now that's an excellent example of "progressives" presenting intelligent insight on a topic, real thought provoking stuff!
When you have had a successful career as a lecturer, author, interviewer, filmmaker, and philosopher you can offer an "informed" opinion that people will listen to. But this proves the intellectual vacuum from which the Obama groveling lemmings stem is deep, vast and as empty as the collective heads of the gathered entities.
"probably more..."
Great stuff!
So he's famously full of ****. He fronted that fraudulent creationist movie crap which misquoted scientists to "disprove" evolution, didn't he?
Show us the numbers.

No.
Is this about your resentments about Ben Stein, far, far more intelligent than you, or about the true meaning of Christmas?
I don't really want to even see any more personal attacks on famous people by left wing, uninformed radicals. You guys are boring
Go look for yourself. Go to any big store, count the percentage of religious decorations compared to secular decorations. Drive down any street. Count how many houses have lights and wreaths compared to how many have only nativity scenes.
Nope, not a spokesman. Just a man who watches the news and understands statistics.
You mean go down your street and count decorations. That's not gonna work.
Try this:
73 Percent Of Americans Believe Jesus Was Born To A Virgin

So just because some people shop for Christmas, means the birth of our Lord And Savior loses all meaning for everyone? Is that what you are trying to say?
Which proves nothing about Christmas celebrations. And no, I mean go down most streets. Pick a variety of areas of the country and do it. You know I'm right.
When people shop in the manner that we do at Christmas, driven by greed and consumerism, at the cost of our civil and kindly interaction with our fellow man, i think that goes counter to the religious reasons for Christmas. Can't tranmple people in a rush for deals and claim you're keeping the Christ in Christmas. Pretty sure Jesus wouldn't want you to treat your neighbor with neglectful apathy as such.

A simple yes or no would've sufficed. Not everyone does that, and in fact I bet the majority of people who do aren't Christians. Black Friday incidents like you describe are isolated. The majority of shopping done during the Christmas season is done peacefully. You are officially making **** up. Color me unsurprised.

Its done in mass, its done to extremes, and about the only time people remotely think of others is when they pass a red kettle. That's on whole and you can see this by then effects on the economy for the Christmas season.
As for "most of them aren't Christian", that's BS. This is a Christian Nation, the vast majority of people are Christian, there are not enough " non-christians" to make up those huge crowds storming doors and trampling their fellow man.
I've never witnessed anyone get trampled while shopping, and neither have you.
But there are plenty of videos.
I see people helping others all the time during Black Friday events. A large group of people between them and a product? Ask the customers to pass down the item or politely ask if they can give some room to allow them to get it. Even during the "rush" moments, I see plenty of laughing and smiles.
So much for faith in statistics.....
