In a way, yes. Both the Taliban who destroyed many Buddha statures and carvings on the Mountain sides and ISIS in Syria all in the name of the Muslim Religion. It seems the protesters and statue destroyers have moved beyond confederate statues to George Washington, Andrew Jackson and an Abolitionist in Madison.

Madison protesters tear down Capitol statues, attack state senator from Milwaukee as fury erupts again

It seems if there is a statue, who doesn't matter, tear it down.

Provide an exact head count of all the people that statue removers have killed. Cite your sources.
 
No; they remind me of the American armored truck crew who tied a chain around the statue of Saddam Hussein in Baghdad in 2003 and pulled it down.

Seems that both groups of people have the same attitude and actions, i.e. destroy any competing ideology and anyone who believes any competing ideology.

Wrong, threat title "Do the statue destroyers remind u of ISIS?" Poll question, "Do the statue destroyers remind u of ISIS," Sure in the OP itself the words statue destroyers were replaced with rioters. But the thread title and the poll questin was, "Do the statue destroyers remind u of ISIS?" The answer to that is yes, the Taliban and ISIS were great at destroying statues and monuments all in the name of the Islam Religion. Those destroying statues here aren't doing in the name of religion, but probably political correctness or an aversion to tolerate others view points.

No need to continue, you want to include killing instead of removal of statues and monuments. Killing isn't what I responded to, it was the forceable removal of statues and monuments. Pretty simple. I'll repeat the poll question, "Do the statue destroyers remind u of ISIS?" This is the question I answered in the context of tearing down and defacing statues and monuments. Nothing more, nothing less. Context is everything. Trying to go out of the bounds of the context of the poll question isn't relevant.
