Did Trump just switch his position on abortion?

Trump changed his mind again. He is going to vote against the abortion law.

Trump is still flipping and flopping, because he's a resident in Florida and as such he has both criticized the six week limit on abortion as "too soon" and has refused to endorse the 24 week limit, so he hasn't even made his position clear except in one way - he supports at least some legal abortion other than the GOP traditional exceptions. Oops.

No, you only need to take a stand, however unprincipled, and then change the stance.

If I remember right, in Michael Crichton's Rising Sun, commenting on the typical situational attitude toward truth in Japan, he had one character call that "social truth." When Trump then went on to make "Truth Social," a couldn't stop laughing. The Japanese I know would never be as situational as he is.
