I wasn't going to watch it, my guess was going to be AI. But yours sounds plausible too.Did Trump just admit to assaulting E Jean Carroll?
No. He didn't not admit to doing anything. He was talking about things that SHE said.

LOL!!I wasn't going to watch it, my guess was going to be AI. But yours sounds plausible too.
ETA: Dat double neggy tho
ETA2: If only you'd said "He didn't not admit to doing nothing" it would have worked.
ETA3: The Triple Enneggy
I know. And I kinda agreed with your post without watching the video. Then I read it again and had to start adding caveats. Nothing personal.LOL!!
Don't get excited. That "not" was a typo. Disregard it and you'll understand what I'm saying.
Did Trump just admit to assaulting E Jean Carroll?

You're kinda right. He didn't admit to assaulting her, directly.
He just suggested that "if" he did assault her, she "liked it."
Which is what all the defendants say in a rape trial...
Wrong. You're kinda right. He didn't admit to assaulting her, directly.
He just suggested that "if" he did assault her, she "liked it."
Which directly implies that the assault a jury found him to have committed was consensual.Wrong.
He didn't suggest or say anything about "if" he did assault her.
He spoke only about what SHE said, which is that she apparently enjoys being raped.
The question being asked in this thread is simple and clear: Did Trump just admit to assaulting E Jean Carroll?Which directly implies that the assault a jury found him to have committed was consensual.
That makes it just his opinion, a poor defence, and not a very modern one.
Get with the times bro. Stop carying water for this rapist
Here's the relevant part of the Carroll/Cooper conversation. I used ellipses to cut to the chase. You can watch the full thing here if you think I'm misrepresenting anything.
CARROLL: It was against my will. And it hurt. And it was a fight.
COOPER: ... you're saying there was actual penetration?
CARROLL: Yes.
COOPER: ... that is the definition of rape. One definition.
CARROLL: That's the definition.... I always think back and think, that was the stupidest thing I've ever done .... to go into a dressing room with a man that I hardly know, and have him shut the door, and then be unable to stop him. And I was a competitive athlete, so I didn't freeze. I rose to the occasion. It did not last long. And that's why I do not use the word you just used [rape], I use the word "fight."..... Sexual violence is in every counrty, in every strata of society, and I just feel so many women are undergoing sexual violence. Mine was short, I got out, I'm happy now, I'm moving on. And I think of all the women who are enduring constant sexual violence. So this one incident, this one, what, three minutes in this little dressing room? I just say it was the fight. That way I'm not the victim. Right? I'm not the victim.... I was not thrown on the ground and ravaged. Which, the word "rape" carries so many sexual connotations. This was not sexual. It hurt.... I think most people think of rape as being sexy. Think of the fantasies."
//
Now, here is Trump's characterization of the above:
TRUMP: ... That's what she said I did to her. She "fainted with great emotion." She actually indicated that she "loved it", ok, she "loved it," until a commercial break. In fact I think she said it was "sexy," it was "very sexy to be raped." Didn't she say that?
KAPLAN: Sir, I just want to confirm. It's your testimony that E Jean Carroll said that she "loved being sexually assaulted by you"?
TRUMP: Well, based on her interview with Anderson Cooper, I believe that's what it was.
//
It's pretty ****ing gross to interpret what Carroll said as saying she loved being raped or that the encounter was sexy. She said it was the definition of rape, but she doesn't refer to it as rape, because she thinks "most people" think rape is sexy, and this was not sexy, it was a "fight." And calling it a fight rather than rape makes her feel less like a helpless victim, when she fought back and ended it quickly.
So no, I don't think Trump admitted he raped her, but he did unreasonably distort her allegations to make her (his rape victim) look bad. He also falsely accused Cooper of manipulating the interview during a four-minute commercial break. Cooper definitely disproved that with raw video footage showing that there was no live commercial break--it was pretaped, so there was no actual break in the conversation during the interview.
What was the most revealing in his deposition was when he was asked if he, as a "star" can grab women by their genitals:"They all secretly want it..." That's next. Because that's basically what he's saying.
Good things convicted rapists never say anything like that.
"Over the last million years"Trump deposition said:Well, historically, that’s true with stars… Well, that’s what — if you look over the last million years, I guess that’s been largely true… Not always, but largely true. Unfortunately or fortunately
Admit? No. Suggest? Yeah. The question being asked in this thread is simple and clear: Did Trump just admit to assaulting E Jean Carroll?
The answer, of course, is equally simple and clear: No.
While understandable, given your level of TDS, the spin that you and others in this thread are spouting is nothing less that dishonest.
Such a sick ****ing human. Not human....a thing. How can anyone defends this piece of literal shit? It's definitely NOT MY president. It doesn't deserve to be anything but the slime it is already is.
Whatever this thing does that ends up helping this country, will be far overshadowed by it's stench. Those that voted for it have sold their souls for little in return. You will have to live with it's stench long after it's gone.
