President Bush did more to fight AIDS and hunger in Africa than any other American president in history. Did he get the credit that he deserved for this?

Not yet he hasn't. However, it is worth noting that history is not written by the media.

History has not been written by the media. But as far as I am aware that may change....


No President, who makes it out of their Presidency alive, gets the credit they deserve. Whenever you sign up to be President, you must be aware that, as Weber would agree, people are going to spit on you.
 
while there is plenty to criticize dubya for, in years to come, when Historians look back with an unbiased eye, his rating will go up alot from his poor approval ratings upon his retirment
 
But Bush tried to teach men in Africa to be faithful to their wives, so that makes him a war criminal who should be sent to Gitmo!
