Did Kat Cammack have an abortion or did she "expel her pregnancy"?

"She had her pregnancy expelled" perhaps. Gf had an ectopic pregnancy (before I knew her) and it does not sound like fun, though sympathy for a nutso rep person is perhaps a little constrained.

Are abortions for ectopic pregnancies (i.e. where the mother's life is at risk) banned in Florida? I'm guessing the hospital has a team of lawyers, and since abortions are a hot topic, I would have hoped the hospital would have made it very clear to the doctors what the law allows and doesn't allow.

I fail to see how 2 doctors wouldn't sign off on this. Clearly ectopic pregnancies fall under the scenario where an abortion is allowed under law. I'm unclear as to why there is confusion amongst the doctors.

Possibly, but since an ectopic pregnancy cannot be brought to full term I wouldn't (personally) say abortion was 'le mot juste' either.

Presumably the doctors weren't are of the details of the law and had to get guidance from the hospital's legal department. Once that happened, they did exactly what you suggest and signed off on providing her the medication.

I don't really care what an LLM writes. Those machines are easily manipulated.

The simple fact is that abortion is not a cut and dry issue. Often times, even if one is against the idea of it, it can be medically necessary if the life of the mother is at risk. This politician hiding from that fact after having an abortion is simply an act of her cowardice.
 
And this confusing BS is why men with no medical training shouldn't legislate women's healthcare procedures.

I don't think you personally manipulated anything. However, an LLM can easily be made to write whatever and therefore is a terrible tool to use for citations. This took me a few moments on ChatGPT.

There is no abortion, as there is no uterine implantation. Ectopic pregnancies are dangerous and requires surgical intervention.

Read the OP. She didn't have surgery, she was given medication intended to deliberately expel her fertilized egg.

I am aware of that. I was saying there is no implantation in an ectopic pregnancy. So there's no abortion.
