Did 220 million people die from Covid, as per Kamala Harris?

Is Kamala correct that 220 million died from Covid?

Whatever the numbers were, Trump voters died at almost 3 times the rate of everybody else.

It turns out there’s a price to pay for falling for liars and charlatans who just exploit your ignorance and even life to advance themselves politically and financially.

That's not accurate? 3 times? Therate of covid deaths among Trump voters was 300% higher than the rate for Democrats?

I've seen the number 15% higher excess deaths for Republicans than democrats - but not 300%.

The 15% higher excess death rate is explained by the fact that about 60% of people over 80 years old were and are Republican, not Democrat. So, that's 50% more Republicans in the highest risk group, representing most of the Covid deaths. So, of course, most of the deaths in the highest risk group where most of the deaths occurred were Republican.

More than 80% of l COVID-19–related deaths between 2020 and 2021 occurred among people aged 60 years or older, according to data published by the World Health Organization (WHO) in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2801723

The death rate for COVID-19 among adults aged 85 and over (1,645.0 per 100,000 population) was 2.8 times higher than the rate for ages 75–84 (589.8), and 7 times higher than that for ages 65–74 (234.3). So, you can see - among the most Republican age bracket, you get most of the Covid deaths - just based on age.

Younger people between the ages of 18 and 40 almost never died from Covid. So, of course, since 65% of people from 18-30 are Democrat, that's going to further skew the number.

Age and party affiliation are related variables here. And age is directly related to Covid risk.

You believe propaganda. Your conclusion presumes that deaths are evenly distributed through the population and they are not. The myth sold by Democrats, that children and people from 18-50 were at any significant risk from Covid, is false. A total of 16% had not received any COVID-19 vaccines."
 

They controlled for those variables, and that was not it. The actual reasons were lack of vaccination, masking, and social distancing as per medical recommendations.

It’s what happens when people fall for a huckster more interested in advancing his career on people’s backs than medical professionals.

That’s why Kamala Harris must be prevented from speaking ‘off script’ as much as possible.

BTW, the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t exist in 2019.

How quickly we forget Bush's mis-speaks, malapropisms, wild numbers and creative grammar, Sarah Palin's word salad's and Trump's bouts of incoherence. Yes, she is a terrible speaker. I'm not happy about that either: on the other hand we have had leaders from whom flowed memorable and eloqueant sound bites who promoted evil.

Sarah Palin is a great comparison. Her "Did you know you can see Russia from Alaska?" stuff was gold, and it could easily be something Harris would say, given her "Ukraine is a small country, invaded by a big country, and basically that's wrong" concept of global afairs, lol.

Pointing out that Harris is the Democrat Sarah Palin is a great tag-line, but hardly an endorsement.
 

Exactly. It should have been obvious (even to a politician) that 2/3 of the US population hadn’t died from COVID-19.

It should also be obvious that grocery stores making under 2% in net profit aren’t price gaging (or gouging).

You are conflating two different things: campaign strategy and her being unusually incoherent.

As to the first, this is her campaign's strategy. So far, it appears to be working. As to the second, I can only disagree. While not as eloquent as former President Obama, she is a great deal more intelligible than former President GW Bush (43). She has a lilt in her cadence similar to former President Carter that can be lulling but outside of that, she is replacement level politician as far as speaking. Not as entertaining as President Biden (Malarkey! Corn Pop!) but a great deal more cogent than former President Trump. Which is who she should be compared to, anyway.

I thought the first American cases were early 2020. It's COVID 19 because it first appeared in China in 2019.
 

Too many died needlessly. That much we know is true.

Also we know that some states like Florida manipulated their numbers and eventually stopped reporting them.

The United States was unprepared for Covid. Mask and vaccine shamers made it worse and continue to do so. Covet has never gone away.
