Department of War? WTF is wrong with these people? Tell trump to pound sand.

It would cost an enormous amount of taxpayer dollars to change the name.
For what reason does this possibly make sense?

More stupid stunts that don’t address problems US citizens care about.
Fix healthcare.
Fix Social Security.
Fix poverty.
Stop firing people.
Stop disrupting and defunding science.
Stop effing up museums, the Kennedy Center, Universities.
Stop with the tacky gold crap all over the White House.
Stop the dumb ballroom that few US citizens will ever set foot in.

And then there are people who live in the real world and know that the United States has only been at peace for a cumulative 20 years. The United States is a nation of war.

Trump has a very small pee pee and he's a draft dodger. We have confirmation of that from other people.

So he has to try to make people think he's something he's not by using tough words. The exact opposite thing that a confident, well adjusted tough man would do. Especially confident Southern men.

I'd say a lot of the MAGA base Is very similar to him in that way.

There is a difference between defense and war. I'm sure we all remember the US declaring war on Afghanistan, Iran, Grenada, Vietnam, Korea etc.

Accuracy is less important than image. I see only negative possible consequences from this name change, and no possible benefit.

Donald isn't interested in your little opinions on what he can or cannot do. Remember, he makes the decision about what the department should be named, Pete executes the decision, and @Metric Mouse and Congress get to express their opinions on the matter, nothing more. And if either of your opinions is that the name shouldn't change, it's not like Pete cares what you think or takes orders from Congress or yourself. Donald told him to change the name of the department, so the name will change.
 
Nobody is looking at this the right way.

Just documentation reprinting is going to be billions of dollars to whichever company is willing to buy the most DJT coin.
