Denver 911 Apologizes for Deadly Instructions - Yahoo! News

Pure idiocy.
Read the comments in the link. Like one said "sorry" just doesn't cut it.

Yeah, I'm thinking "sorry" doesn't cut it. I'm also thinking "lawsuit". The dispatcher was an arrogant asshole.

Denver is a cess-pool when it comes to drivers. I dread driving there.

Yet again, I'd want a hell of a lot more detail before making the kind of definite statements people putting are here (not that I've any particular desire to make such statements in the first place). There are only third-hand reports of what was said in the call - it isn't even entirely clear whether the driver was told to return to the actual scene or just somewhere within the Denver jurisdiction.

I used to think the same until I moved to New Jersey. Now I miss Denver.

Any lawyers here want to comment on a possible wrongful death suit?

"the 911 dispatcher and Reat argued about the instruction to return to the scene of the altercation, with the dispatcher threatening to withhold police assistance unless Reat drove back to Denver." All total assclowns.

This sounds like something from "Kid 'n Play"

Well, that's not fair. Comparing any place to New Jersey is like comparing a place to hell.

That is pretty sad.
