On 911, while everyone was commemorating the anniversary of the attacks on the twin towers, the Demoratic party was recruiting at a strip club. Their claim is that it is the perfect place to find Republicans who may be willing to switch parties.

Whether or not their claim is true, I find this exceedingly cheesy. How about the rest of you?

Article is here.

Hey, any excuse to go check out some boobs.

Man, you were a hero a little bit ago when you posted a story about a Republican donor going to jail . . .

But let the evisceration begin from the same people now.

Somehow "Democratic National Committee workers" becomes the "Democratic Party."

the Demoratic party was recruiting at a strip club.

Maybe they were just looking for Bill Clinton....

Who really gives a ****? Do you ever get tired of shaking your finger at everyone else for unimportant crap like this?

Well Democrats were all up and arms about Bush supposedly politisizing 9-11 by daring to wait for it ... mention the war on terror on 9-11.

Ted Kennedy was saying how we should all be mourning yadayadayada and then we have the DNC going out to strip clubs. WTF?

LMAO! I have been to Camelot one time, and the women there were hot.

Anyway, this story sounds too outrageous to be true, but if it is, that is the place to look for conservatives. Those who scream the loudest about morality tend to have the lowest of such.

Right now, it is the Democrats making hay about all the Republican convictions and jail sentences, so you are correct. Those who scream the loudest DO have the lowest of morals. In this case, it also applies to the Dems.

Or any Republican visiting San Diego. If you don't know the story the republicans here are known for doing business in strip clubs.

How about clients of Jeff Gannon?

That may be true, but the democrats don't scream and yell how much more moral they are than republicans.

you have a point-I actually agree. Porn hater Charlie Keating had a big porn collection while some gun banners own lots of guns. People who scream the loudest about helping the poor are often the stingiest

true-they spend most of their time pretending they are smarter and that they "Care more". In both cases, both groups are usually lying

I think the dems are better known as caring for the average everyday citizens than the repubs are and at this point and time, I'll give 'em the push on intelligence. But while they are passing out government cheese and hugging trees with one hand, they line their pockets, just like a republican, with the other.

Cheese, bombs. Makes no difference. We get screwed in the end.

Boobs......you don't need a reason to see boobs.

Hey, ya gotta admit, recruiting at strip clubs is a good idea. Not only, as Capin’ A mentioned, do they get to see some bewbs, but strip clubs are a good place to find rich guys with less than staunchly conservative values.

And tell me this, which political party is more likely to ease restrictions on interaction between dancers and customers? (6' minimum distance, mandatory nipple stickers and g strings...rules like that)

Its good to know the great sacrifices our party representatives will endure to help us all out.

I heard it said they were just registering the strippers to vote.

I would have liked to hear the plan of action register meeting that morning.

"You and you go to old folks homes and hospitals, I guess I will bite the bullet and just go register all the strippers I can find" Now Go Go Go!!!

The Democrats were following party rules, just soliciting contributions. And when they got enough $1 bills to fill a grocery bag, they would venture into the club to redistribute funds, part of the party platform.

At least Dems redistribute the funds unlike the cheap *** Republicans who horde it from those that need it

Figured one jab deserved another.

A republican states he saw folks in jeans and t-shirts outside the club, and swears they are DNC. A cheesy article without attribution is posted and y'all buy it, except aps?

Sorry Pen. A Republican may have reported it, but the accusation was substantiated by Roll Call. Roll Call also substantiates that this is the second time the Dems have been at that same strip club.

Now I have no axe to grind. Everyone knows I am one of the biggest Bush bashers on this board. But the Dems dont own me either. Whats right is right, and whats cheesy is, well...... cheesy. I call em like I see em. But I will give the Dems a little credit this time. At least they were not passing out cigarettes to the homeless in order to get them to vote Democratic this time.

I don't see the substantiation when an unattributed source is used. Is there more to the Roll Call article than what was linked?

I do agree with another poster that the proposed layoff of 75,000 Ford workers is far more newsworthy than this bit of tripe.
