Who said there was a concerted effort to "Help things in Ferguson"?
The continuing civil protest of "Hands up, Don't Shoot" has nothing to do with the GJ action or Ferguson in particular.
Anyone that has a problem with the protests can go kick rocks.

A handful of Democrats took to the House floor to protest the lack of an indictment in the shooting of an unarmed teen in Ferguson — raising their arms to their chest and displaying open palms in a “Hands up, don’t shoot” gesture.
Among the congressional members to send the not-so-subtle message of alliance with St. Louis-area protesters late Monday night were New York’s Hakeem Jeffries and Yvette Clarke, as well as Texas’ Al Green.

Saw this on Morning Joe's show (complete with pictures of the idiots doing it). He's about to boil over. This is day 2 of his rants about the idiots who are perpetuating the lie that the PD shoots people whose hands are raised in surrender.
Nice. Now our lawmakers are doing this? And this is supposed to help the current situation in Ferguson....how?
You want to object to the GJ's decision....fine. I get that and while I disagree, I support it. But to see lawmakers intentionally carrying on a lie and implying that the police officers shot Brown while he was in surrender is disgusting. But except for Joe Scarborough and a few right wingers, nobody will call them to task for this.
3 Representatives who each won their house race with 90% or more of the vote in their districts. Sometimes representatives do represent the views of their districts
I am truly shocked that a politician would lie in order to gain political advantage.
Ah, thank you for sharing that the Democrats have no interest in settling things down in Ferguson.
Mornin TB. Charles Barkley has been sounding off about it too.
Why Charles Barkley supports the Ferguson grand jury decision.....
Former NBA star Charles Barkley recently called Ferguson looters "scumbags," praised police officers who work in black neighborhoods, and said he supports the decision made by the grand jury not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the Michael Brown shooting. "The true story came out from the grand jury testimony," Barkley said, adding that he was made aware of "key forensic evidence, and several black witnesses that supported Officer Darren Wilson’s story..." He continued, "I can’t believe anything I hear on television anymore. And, that’s why I don’t like talking about race issues with the media anymore, because they (the media) love this stuff, and lead people to jump to conclusions. The media shouldn’t do that. They never do that when black people kill each other. "
And in a marked departure from other prominent black leaders who have questioned tactics used by officers and, in some cases, accused officers of racial profiling and outright racism, Barkley supported police officers, especially those who work in black neighborhoods.
“[W]e have to be really careful with the cops, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods," he said. "We can’t pick out certain incidentals that don’t go our way and act like the cops are all bad.... Do you know how bad some of these neighborhoods would be if it wasn't for the cops?”.....snip~
Why Charles Barkley supports the Ferguson grand jury decision
The only idiots missing from the spectacle were the Dem who is worried about Guam capsizing and the criminal Charlie Rangel, who were also re-elected by overwhelming majorities.
I love his Wild, Wild West comment. How right he is about that.
Cops aren't perfect. There are bad cops. Just like there are wicked people in nursing homes who abuse the elderly, and foster parents who take in kids and lock them up in closets while starving them. Can anyone on here or anywhere else say these are the norm rather than the exception? Nope.
Isolate and punish the bad cops. Toss the book at them and humiliate them for their malfeasance. But to perpetuate the false narrative that it's a systematic issue that cops are shooting people with their hands up in surrender is not only disingenuous, it's downright dangerous. And when you have lawmakers doing it, it's worse. These clowns should be above this. But they aren't, apparently.
Charles Barkley made a lot of sense there.
Another thing that he mentioned......What was AL Sharpton doing in the White House meeting with BO and his Team? He doesn't belong there. He is no leader.
Both Jesse Jackson and Sharptones need to be grilled over their involvement with this case. All the while pointing out about the racism between blacks and Hispanics and when are they going to start dealing with that problem rather than run away from it.
Emphasis should always be placed on them running away, avoiding, hiding.....as well as using Civil Rights issues to live High off the Hog.

Yet another in a seemingly endless series of threads put forth from folks pretending to center their faux ideology around liberty and freedom but who seem to spend most of their free time lately criticizing the exercise of just that.
I too want to know exactly why Al Sharpton keeps having the opportunity to meet with Obama, and why Obama is stupid enough to do it.
Al Sharpton is a dangerous man and a proven liar, racist and instigator. It's disgusting that Obama isn't being called out on that. There is no excuse whatsoever for him to grant Sharpton any time and influence.
I know, a Republican never plays a political gesture. It's a well established fact that they are above such things.
[sarcasm off]

Criminals usually go down swinging so, it's a faux gesture. A lie, if you will.
