Democrats' Senate Math Problem, 24 red states each with two senators

Canada would give us 20 more Senate seats.
Add in two each for Greenland, D.C., Puerto Rico and our Territories and you get 128 total, or two to the 7th power.
I reckon 55 House seats for Canada and 11 more making 501, the number used for partners in English darts, ayk.

Canada would be a territory, along with Greenland. They'd have the sort of representation Puerto Rico and Guam do. We'd let them elect representatives, but they would largely be ceremonial with no voting privileges.

There's a process to becoming a US state. Just because Canada is already one in all but name doesn't allow them to skip that process.

Brian Kemp looks to be the guy for Georgia's Senate seat in the 2026 race. He's a very popular governor and he's already got a big lead.
