I saw this well done ad for Annie Andrews who is challenging Lindsey Graham for his seat. Even if she has a snowball's chance in hell of winning, I like the message and its delivery and it is refreshing to know that there are those out there who are trying to make positive change happen.

Definitely a red flag for Republicans. Once again, their strongest weapon may be the very thing that costs many of them their seats. Loose cannons can be powerful but have a bad habit of firing in unintended directions.

That part of the State of Iowa isn’t just red, it’s crimson. It’s a major miracle that Catelin Drey won that Senate seat as a Democrat by the margin that she did. This is the area where Bob Vander Plaats, Randy Feenstra, and Steve King (remember him?) were/are from.

While it’s only a state senate seat, it breaks the Republican supermajority, which is an important first step here. But I’ll bet the RNC just got a massive wake-up call foreshadowing what may be coming in the midterm elections.
