Are you sure the final result has been called? I've been watching and there were still a few counties that weren't reported yet and those were red counties.

Nothing official just yet. 99% of the votes are in though: 10,000 vote lead.

A bit premature, iyam.

Kentucky governor election results 2019

97% of the vote is in.

No concession yet...but, only Jefferson County (Louisville) remains uncounted.

Mitch is ****ting bricks tonight, I am sure.

Damn. Kentucky is where taxpayers gave millions to build a giant boat shaped building which is supposed to prove the world is only 6,000 years old.

Shouldn't that be safe Republican territory?

The R counties still to complete counting and reporting are supposedly less populated and the variable is how the R governor does there compared to his previous voter pull there four years ago.

Democrats in KY have swung a ton of votes their way in this election yet the mountain remains high before them to get to the other side. It may be too much for the D's to do all the same. If the R loses Moscow Mitch will probably have to have Putin into KY to campaign for him.

It appears there aren't enough folks in those two counties to overcome beshear's lead. Wow!

If KY becomes a Blue State, wonder how democrats are going to recalculate their red state-blue state memes to hide it.

NBC called it for the D Beshear in the KY governor's race.

Trump is the best thing to happen to the Dems since FDR.

two minutes ago, CBS had it 49-49 and 2 percent for the Libertarian. 6 months ago, Beshear was up 10 points

Put your glasses on...or check the link.

Bevin sucked as a candidate-arrogant and elitist. But Beshear's campaign stressed featuring voters who said they still support Trump but they are now supporting Beshear. Bevin's attempts to tie Beshear to the radical left was rather lame according to several good friends of mine in Kentucky-=-they all voted for Beshear but support Trump. Three of them said that Beshear is nothing like Pelosi. And a governor doesn't vote on speaker of the house or senate majority leader. They all said in national elections they support the GOP

NBC just called it

Trump is the best thing to happen to the Dems since FDR.

Democrats ran super successfully against Hoover for the next 60 years.

Against Trump Democrats will have a feast for the next 150 years.

The pendulum swings and it just struck Trump in the balls.

Next year is the potus election when Trump will be at the top of the ballot across the country. Trump has his base that includes the Kremlin so he's still in the race. However, the R governor of KY Bevin defeated now for reelection is a Trump clone so that's the real bad news for Putin-Trump next year. Oh, and for their Rowers.

CBS didn't put that detail in

I'd rather have Beshear than Dewine as a governor

De looks half dead. Who'd he run against? I forget already. Ah, Cordray.
