People need to get outside their U.S. news bubble more often, and pay attention to what's happening globally.

'Democracy Now' hosted by Amy Goodman, is a favorite of mine to catch up in less than 15 minutes. Do people care about the global news? Probably not, but they should.

I care, but I read the news. I don't think watching the news gives enough depth. Try...

While I'm interested in what's happening globally, I wouldn't go to a hard left source such as "Democracy Now!" to get any real information about what's going on globally.

She shows the video, she gives the facts. But then, you're not fond of facts.

How hard does she spin the facts she reciting?
What parts of the story is she omitting, as in lies of omission?
It always the same from left wing sources.
That said, other sources do some of the same thing as well.

My point being that unless you consume both sides, you aren't going to get even close to the full story on which to form an opinion or position.
