DC Federal Judge Green Lights Dominion Suit

Late Wednesday a DC federal judge gave the go ahead to Dominion's suit against Rudy, Powell and the My Pillow guy. There have been comments on here that these suits would never move forward.

And here is the icing on the cake. The judge was a Trump appointee. This should get interesting.
 
A Trump judge orders that the plaintiffs may move ahead on the Dominion case.
 
It will be nice to see all the defendants in court having to show their evidence for their "defamatory statements," as for Dominion they cannot be too concerned about discovery if they are willing to go this far in going after those responsible for the big lie.

The motions filed by the various defendants should be nonstop entertainment.
 
The 3 Stooges defending themselves in court. Hilarious. Get the whirling tap dancers throwing bang snaps ready, with the background song "That's entertainment!"

The rational for not going forward in the Brief put forward by the Powell,Rudy etal' legal team was laughable inept and irrelevant. Must be a few more stray Trump Legal Team clowns defending them.

You are kidding right? I did not even check the names of the Attorney's of record. Did not think even they were STUPID enough to defend themselves.

Won't work this time. Dominion has suffered actual damage from all the lies. Time is up for all these Trump clowns. He lost.

I agree, and when the republican politicians face the 1/6 commission I think we can expect to hear a whole bunch of I can't recall, or I don't remember when they face their jim jordan moment in the hot seat.
 
What was interesting was that the judge said that proving that the defendants knew what they were saying was false was key in a defamation suit and that there was sufficient evidence of that to allow the case to move forward. The judge also acknowledged that in the case of Lindell there was evidence he was trying to profit from those lies.

I really hope there is no deal reached hope and that these proceedings are fully open to the press. The truth must be made public.

When push comes to shove inside of a courtroom where people have to speak for the record, the defense will have to put up an argument in some way supporting their assertions of Dominion (and others) or admit it was sensationalism that got out of control.

Either way, we get to see what these defendants do or more likely do not have.

I was taking the liberty of literary license. It is through their legal representation, their attys, that any possible stoogery cab slapstick the court. I suspect if they wish to have any serious career thereafter, they will have the sense not mount a 3 stooges defense, in which case they will have no defense, IMO.
 
Does anyone else see Dominion as rebranding their products in the future.

I don't know, but maybe...
