You know, many here, including myself, have pilloried Bush for putting people in his cabinet who either were lobbyists, or who had lobbyists in their immediate families. Obama himself promised that the lobbyists would not have access to his administration. What does he do AFTER he is elected? Picks Tom Daschle for HHS, even though Daschle's wife is a very high profile lobbyist. She has worked on behalf of tobacco companies, major airlines, and yes, also health care interests.

To all of you Democrats who have bashed Bush over his picks, and their connections to the lobbying industry, I sincerely hope that your criticisms were based on belief, and not just on a desire to bash Bush. So what do you think of Obama's HHS pick? Personally, I think it stinks, and shows that Obama was a liar when he made that promise.
