Not only does FEMA not thank Musk on the FEMA press release, it takes credit even though it tried to confiscate the life-saving communications equipment donated by Musk, who has given free connectivity to the entire state or the phones wouldn't work. The phones allow rescue crews to coordinate and talk to each other in the mountains and river valleys. Expediting the extraction of those who need it most or who need specialized medical care.

It's the democrats trying to take credit for something they didn't do. What's new. Biden claiimed he cut the debt, but it was merely the expiration of the Covid moneys. Not anything Biden did.

I don’t walk around carrying a life ring and rope with me - and I doubt many people in the mountains of N.C. had those laying around either.

No, I’m not rushing into a flash flood to try to save someone in a car. Sorry, not happening. If there was a safe means to do such - fine, I would utilize every safe means at my disposal to try to assist.

But risking my own life for a stranger? Rushing into a flash flood try to save someone?

Nope. I have a son that depends on me.

And there is no one else in this world that will EVER be as important to me as he is, so 🤷‍♀️
