A California father said he’s been granted full custody of his 4-year-old son following a protracted legal battle with the boy’s mother — who allegedly forced the child to wear dresses and glitter because she wanted to raise him as non-binary.
Tinsley alleged that Sawyer’s mother — who he said identifies as a lesbian and non-binary herself — tried to push her gender ideology onto the child from the time he was a baby.
This included a cruel campaign of gaslighting like referring to Sawyer with they/them pronouns over his protestations, and forcing him to wear girls’ diapers, dresses and makeup, the dad claimed.
Thank god reason finally prevailed. Its obvious that very young kids dont even care about this gender BS and just want to be happy and play, but its always one of their parents or another adult who grooms them into thinking theyre something else for their own selfish ends, and this has got to stop.

Your thoughts, @Lisa?

So, the outrage junkies have been lying about California. What a shock.

Just because one judge made a good decision doesn't mean there aren't other issues in the state.

What is your opinion on this story?

The New York Post has taken a story about a child rightfully taken from a drug addicted, abusive mother and made it about gay stuff for the outrage addicts.

Should a mother force her child into a "non-binary" lifestyle?

"Sawyer’s mom told police that she is autistic. Her friends told police that she is manic depressive and has a more volatile altar ego named “Lexi.”

These people are not only considered sane, they are the heart of MAGA.

Are you asking me how much freedom a parent has to raise their children or are you asking me for a personal moral judgement on a specific parental action?

Let's do both.

I'm impressed by the quick pivot of the parents' rights crowd here who are only too happy to support parents forcing their kids to be straight.
So, we have abusive parents on both sides of the issue. There will always be shitty parents out there.

I believe parents have a great deal of freedom on how they choose to raise their children and only obvious danger, or abuse, should call for intervention by the State. For example, I am very opposed to the genital mutilation of boys, but I understand that it is an acceptable cultural, and religious, practice so I am not willing to arrest people or take away their children if they get them circumcised. And I consider that much worse than dressing a boy in girls' clothes at the age of 4.

Morally, I find it repugnant.

You don't find forcing a child to dress or act like they are another gender or non-gender abusive?

You don't find forcing a child to be straight when they aren't as abusive?

You can't have it both ways.

Yet you're fine with the shitty ones who are anti-gay. You don't see the contradiction?
I am not fine with any parent abuse, it must done on a case to case basis, not some blanketed generalization.

I already answered what I thought of it. Are you asking if I think it is enough to call in the Jack Boots of the State?

You support a party that is only too happy to allow parents to have their kids "cured" of being gay or trans. So yeah, you're fine with it.

I'm asking if you'd call it abuse.
