DA Alvin Bragg Considers Accepting Rep Jim Jordan's Call To Testify

Rep. Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, thinks that he has something on DA Bragg for having DJT convicted of fraud. Apparently, DA Bragg may very well agree to appear before Congress to testify. The good news is that DA Bragg will not appear before this current MAGA House until after DJT is sentenced. The bad news is - this would be Jim Jordan's personal version of Monty Python's Flying Circus. If there is a scandal to be exposed - it should be Jim Jordan's waste of good oxygen.



Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg agreed on Friday to testify before Congress as Republicans attempt to discredit former President Donald Trump’s conviction, but indicated that could happen only after Trump is sentenced next month.



The letter from Bragg’s general counsel said the Manhattan DA’s office is willing to engage with the committee to decide a date for the testimony as well as to “better understand the scope and the purpose of the proposed hearing.”

“This Office is committed to voluntary cooperation. That cooperation includes making the District Attorney available to provide testimony on behalf of the Office at an agreed-upon date, and evaluating the propriety of allowing an Assistant District Attorney to testify publicly about an active prosecution to which he is assigned,” the letter reads.
 
It will be a shit show. They won't let him answer any questions, they will instead talk over him like they did with Merrick Garland and then make speeches about all the illegals because somehow Bragg is responsible for them.
 
I hope he goes just to ask Gym Jordan why he doesn't respect the power of a subpoena. After that, he can ask Rep. Comer why he doesn't believe in one of the crucial aspects of American government, federalism.
 
I hope he knows what he is doing. Jordan could make political points with the cult on this. What's in it for Bragg? Hard to see an up side.

We both know that DA Bragg could outsmart both Jordan and Comer along with the rest of the MAGA flunkies on that Committee, but the MAGA Gang has bigger motor mouths and will drown DA Bragg out often. But yeah, to see Jordan's face if DA Bragg gets to remind him of his long running subpoena dodge would be priceless.

I tend to agree. All that might be said for DA Bragg doing this could be that 1) Bragg wasn't a chicken like Jordan is and 2) If allowed to finish answering the MAGA committee's questions, he'll debunk their lies - for the record. Other than that, it'll still be Jordan's Monty Python Flying Circus.
 
Jim Jordan is the absolute reason term limits for senators should be cut back to 6 years maximum. What a waste of tax payer money he is.

We have term limits
They are known as democratic elections
If the voting public does not want the incumbent returned to office
Then they will vote for the alternative candidate

Different communication. This was about an accusation from Gym Jordan that the DOJ was communicating with state officials in Trump's prosecution. Just another GOP conspiracy lie.
