D.C. grand jurors reject latest wave of Justice Dept. indictment requests

Washington — What was happening in the criminal case of Nathalie Rose Jones, who was facing charges in Washington, D.C., federal court this summer, wasn't typical.

A grand jury of D.C. citizens on Tuesday had denied the Justice Department's request to indict Jones, who was accused of a federal crime for allegedly posting an Instagram threat against President Trump.

"Not only have I never heard of this happening, I've never heard of a prosecutor who's heard of this happening," said former federal prosecutor Brendan Ballou, who served in the U.S. Attorney's Office for in D.C. until January 2025.

"This is not the fault of career prosecutors, but rather the office's failure—again and again—to secure indictments suggests that the administration has absolutely destroyed its credibility with jurors," Ballou told CBS News.
The GQP scum in the DOJ have killed its credibility. It is now a joke.

I don’t think it’s very wise to start a jury nullification war but you do you.

Certainly needs to be a lot more information added to this. Why, exactly they declined to indict.

I am starting to see the wisdom of having a jury of one's peers.

For every action, there is an equal reaction.

🤣

You don't?

Well, obviously your opinion is very relevant and important to all of us, so by all means, feel free to explain whatever this gibberish is supposed to mean.

People are growing tired of the Bondi DoJ making Federal cases out of numerous incidents that should be misdemeanors.

Folks are also dog-tired of masked ICE agents tossing their LEO weight around because they can.

Bondi has outright weaponized the Department of Justice. Looking to make examples out of everyone (except card carrying Republicans and the wealthy).

The article does not say but I would imagine because there was not threat. It's also likely that Pirro is a moron with an orange dick print on her forehead who has her face buried in Trump's diaper.

This was nothing but a retaliation by Trump and the people involved basically told Trump to **** off.
