Maybe it would be helpful to put up a collage of some of Trump's divisive hate rallies, what he dispensed at those hate rallies; observe the reactions of his GOP supporters when Trump said and advocated for certain things/actions at those hate rallies, and then put forth the poll. Maybe revisit the Helsinki Press Conference, as well as consider Trump fell in love with one of the world's most brutal dictators over a few disingenuous letters. ( A refresher course of sorts to ponder before casting one's vote )

It's created a real conundrum for me: in the post Trump era, how do you debate on a debate forum when you know for a fact that 100% of conservative arguments are bald faced lies and arguments made in bad faith? And there is literally nothing that conservatives could criticize about Democrats or the Biden Administration that they're not a thousand times guiltier of. It's a legitimate dilemma because, you know...it's a debate forum.

American's post is an excellent example of the dilemma I mentioned, because his post is gas lighting and is impossible to take seriously.

Every conservative post I just scroll by and see....gas lighting....projection...lying...trolling...more gas lighting...sea lioning...gas lighting again...projection...projection...gas lighting...bad faith argument....more gas lighting...

This is true. You see some sanctimonious argument from someone who just spent four years excusing the most vile behavior and go, "WTF?"

It will be difficult.
The Trump base seems to have little regard for facts and any they don't agree with and instantly dismissed.
I'm unsure if they can be won over with truth as they also claim anything they don't agree with can't possibly be true but I hope the Trump base will eventually fizzle out as people finally see that Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself and how much he can play the system to his advantage.

I think a montage of the GQP convention last summer would be a good picture of the party. Start at the first night with Kimberly Guilfoyle, continue with the downplaying of COVID, and Trump's superspreader speech before the packed in stooges in front of the White House. The postscript could Trump talking about the mysterious plane full of evil men in black that simultaneously flew to and from D.C.

When you have the Republicans who are gerrymandering districts to shut out the opposition and also suppressing the vote as much as they possibly can it's hardly an outlandish statement.

Republicans can't win the popular vote so they use tricks to stay in power.

Still with this? How can you continue to choose not to see the so very obvious? The fact that not a one of you have ever really been able to defend why you blindly supported a national traitor like Trump and are incapable of producing any GOP policy or ideology that isn't busted (Trickle-Down, NeoCon, etc.) should shake you a bit.

The reason Republicans push debunked conspiracy after debunked conspiracy to you is that they have nothing else to keep you on their leash.

Can't you see that in the absence of any real surviving ideology, that this is the conspiracy crap they hand you? All they do is produce false rhetoric as policy, then absolutely contradict. Do you realize that not once did the GOP push to reform bad immigration laws? They merely allowed Trump to appeal to your baser instincts and hatred. Do you realize that despite the House Democrats passing legislation on American infrastructure for four years, helping Trump keep a campaign promise, the Senate Republicans shot every single thing down? Oh...but the Democrats are the "do nothing?!"

The GOP's entire agenda is to simply obstruct and oppose while grooming a seething hatred towards Democrats, so that you will choose to blindly support whatever they do in your name. How do you see any respect towards you from this? Toss in the fact that they are constantly getting caught committing actual voter fraud and voter repression, and you have a Party that has chosen not to represent all Americans properly. You just experienced months of the GOP trying to commit fraud by pretending that they were cheated. The result was January 6 and the first thing some of them did was push to you yet another conspiracy that Antifa was behind it. Such is their respect for your intelligence.

The GOP absolutely deals in lies as an SOP. It is painfully easy to prove.
