Thanks for noting how nothing Traitor Trump has done since taking office in January has benefited Americans wallets. 👍

The CPI decreased for the first time since 2020. That means the price of items tracked decreased. If you go to the grocery store and pay less today for the exact same basket of items that you did last month, how does that not benefit you?

Recommend you reread your own reference. You clearly haven’t properly comprehended what is in it.

Oh, thank goodness. The Golden Age has arrived. I was worried there for a moment.

He was just stopping by to call Trump a traitor. Don't worry, you'll see him the next time some bad news comes out and all of a sudden it will all be Trump's fault.

Ah, pre-liberation day" numbers. Relish them while you can.

Hopefully this is transitory. Prolonged deflation can lead to a great depression scenario.

Well, how can this be? Libs here have said repeatedly that Trump has destroyed the economy and that his tariffs policy would cause rampant inflation.

Do you consider this economy, with the current inflation numbers, to be Trump's economy?

Inflation had been trending downward.

Let's revisit this conversation in a few weeks, once tariffs begin taking full effect.

It's probably a sign of economic stagnation. At least for now, fears of stagflation appear to be premature, but I suspect that will change over time unless Trump relents suddenly and dramatically on his tariffs.

Isn't that like saying we lost a million last quarter and this quarter we only lost half a million, so good news, right?

Unfortunately whatever it is, usually is Trump's fault-like these idiotic tariffs which will be costing you, the consumer, a lot more very soon. Who are you going to blame when that kicks in?

Trump's previous tariff stunt failed dismally the last time he was in office. Does nobody learn from their mistakes, or are memories conveniently short?

They have been taught to hate the Democrats as far back as I can remember and that goes back to Nixon with his list of enemies and Reagan with his welfare queens and trump who just hates any Democrat even though he is one. Yup, the GOP turns out disaster after disaster when they choose a president.

Deflation is not good.. ask the Japanese.

Trump has already planted the seed of 'It's all Biden's fault'. He even said yesterday that Q-2 will also be Biden's fault. He's training his seals early and well.
