As viewed from space. The green rectangle above highlights two 300' long freshly dug trenches for mass burials at the Behesht-e Masoumeh cemetery complex in Qom, Iran.
The white smudge to the lower left of the trenches is a huge pile of quicklime, used to slow the decay process and control odors. Iran says 512 have died but is no doubt vastly under-reporting.
