Don't think so - from my understanding, the real test is given orally (no multiple choice), though I believe they are revising it.....

If this is the extent of the test, no, it's not too challenging. Except the Susan B. Anthony question, I learned the answers in high school and, apparently, never forgot them. A good citizen should know what the three branches of government are and what the stars and stripes symbolize. Ditto wartime Presidents.
 

I said I took it a couple of years ago. It might have been modified since then. I believe one question asked for the name of an obscure vice-president. I never bothered memorizing all the U.S. vice-presidents. I think that was the only answer I got wrong (altho it might have been something else...early onset alzheimers maybe?) LOL

In any case I still think most Americans (not interested and highly informed forum participants like us) wouldn't do too well based on currently reported scholastic test scores.

Again, I don't think so - I believe there is a pool of questions (100 or so). My guess would be that 20-30 questions are selected from that pool....

I know the Canadian one takes from a pool of around 200 and selects 20.
 
Well, I'd do terribly if I had to name Vice Presidents or all the Presidents.
 


I are so good at being American.
 
I just took this one...got 100. It was fairly easy. Hmm, but 20 out of 100 possible. The actual test can't be this easy, can it?

For some reason I put the Pro-tempore as the replacement for the VP and President. Looks like I need to review my political procedures.

that is #4 behind the speaker if they are eligible,---well unless Alexander Haig works in your Administration in which case the VP becomes 3rd in line

I passed, but missed two that I really shouldn't have missed at all....I wish that every politician would have to pass this test before they would be permitted to run for office...Probably unconstitutional, but a good idea anyway...
 
I guessed on question 9.


 
100 of 100. Luckily for some reason,Vermont being its own country for awhile has always stuck in my head.

J/K, but how do we know people didn't just look up the answers. Easy enough to do with on-line tests. Guess we just have to take the word of all those people who had perfect scores.
