Could you cope with being filmed at a Coldplay concert ?

I am not so beautiful that the camera would find me.

My main issue though is that I do not enjoy that style of music.

Imagine the humiliation. All your friends now know you like Coldplay. How do you deal with that ? Just laugh it off or come ut swinging ?
Its probably safer not to go.
Oooh, Burn

I liked X&Y and some songs before that album. I haven't heard much of the newer material.

All they had to do was NOT ACT LIKE THEY WERE HAVING AN AFFAIR lolol
Maybe it's just me but I didn't see any obvious signs they were having an affair. It could be just having fun at a concert with a friend. Some people are just touchy-feel type of people. Get two of them together and this is what you would see.

If he never ducks behind her, no one ever hears about this.

Do you have a funny parody Al?

No I can't find anything funnier than Coldplay.

I think the pompous statements put out by this company made me more sympathetic to the cheaters. Are all tech firms so far up their own arses ?

Bingo! I said this from the get-go: If the couple didn't act so dayem guilty, and played-it-off-legit, waving, smiling, and embracing the moment, they probably had a reasonable shot at surviving this.

The cheating guy doesn't seem very smart, for a CEO.

I suppose the good news is they're married . . . only not to each other!

I must be old. I have no idea who Coldplay is.

LOL, touchy-feel type CEO playing touchy-feel with head of HR. That's how you end up fired.

Because I am an evil person.

Eh. They're both going to land new very lucrative jobs because c suite is a club.

Probably.

Or maybe they are really good at their jobs and another company would be happy to have them.

Sure but since it's a club there's no way to discern between who's good and who's terrible, they all get gigs regardless. it's why even when they've ****ed up just short of criminality CEO's get to resign vs being fired with cause. It's a club. A clurb.

Frankly, I didn't see anything here they SHOULD have resigned over.

This was between CEO guy and his wife. As long as he was producing for the shareholders, no one should have cared.

I don't necessarily disagree with you in general that people's private lives shouldn't be a consideration for their company. However in this case they are both the chief officers of the company, she is the lead HR person for the org. That creates a super bad look. On that basis one or both needed to resign. I agree they shouldn't resign for having an affair, that's not our business.
