Tnat's pretty shitty of her, to be honest. I just don't get how an assasination attempt divides us rather than brings us together.

An attack on a politician, let alone a presidential candidate, is an attack on our political system and therefore an attack on us all.
 
Where are the trump supporters to tell us why the wife's response was a deserved thing and why we shouldn't expect trump to contact her?
 
There are some potential issues that Trump may have with the widow. He requested a Go Fund Me campaign for victims of the shooting (or their families) which includes both Donald Trump as well as the widow. This unfortunately means that she is potential competition for a few million dollars, and while it's true that she lost a husband, she needs to understand that Donald's ear may have been injured and it's very important to him that he be properly compensated, and every dollar that goes to her is a dollar that he's not getting. Since Donald only knows transactional relationships, he needs to take some time to carefully plan a favorable transaction before engaging with her in any way.

Hell, just the NDAs could take a while...
 
I hope the media leaves these people alone if they don't want the attention. They did nothing wrong (I disagree with their ideology but that is not wrong).

To be fair, she quite explicitly said that she does not blame Biden for the shooting -- she blames the shooter.

But, her seething hatred for Biden is quite strong. Hopefully she will find a way to embrace that hate, draw strength from it, and use that strength to get through these difficult days as she competes with Donald for a share of his Go Fund Me.

Yeah, I just read the full quote but it's still insane. I'm glad she doesn't have ill-will towards Biden over this (not that she should), but to refuse a condolence call from the president because your dead husband wouldn't have approved... da hell...

You don't know that man's state at the moment. You don't know how he feels about it. No one does..
He may be 'in touch' in coming days.

Or should he call while the widow is still losing her mind?

He didn't ask for a young nut job to try and kill him resulting in this outcome.(suppose some would differ.. :rolleyes: )
