Policing is an extremely difficult job (though in my city it pays well with great benefits), but there's no place for those that abuse their badge & oath. It's a privilege to be allowed the use of deadly force, and it's not a privilege to be earned or taken lightly.
I hope that the idiot cop is working the greeter spot at the local Walmart. Another freaking idiot cop. That job attracts so many twits.
You spout that crap now....until you need a cop.
They won't be "freaking idiots" or "twits" then, will they?
Cops should behave themselves. But civilians need to do the same. And if they do, the cops won't land on them and thus there will be no problems.
Living in Texas for over 50 years, I can tell you that it is one racist state, especially around Plano, McKinney or Vidor. This should be evident in seeing all the racist here who see nothing wrong with this cops behavior.
I'ved lived in very white and conservative areas of the south too. It's amazing how openly racist whites can be when around only other whites. Granted, I'm sure this applies to other races as well, but I always laugh when right wingers pretend that white racism is a thing of the past (and that only EVIL minorities are racist today, while whites are oppressed).
Careful, you're one college degree away from being called a self hating white man.
Well, I'm a white hispanic (yes, we do exist, and are not an invention by the "liberal media"). However, for some reason when some (actually most) white people find out what my last name is, or hear me speak spanish, they react with shock and usually say "you're hispanic"? But you look white!", apparently not realizing that hispanic isn't a race, and that not all hispanics are brown skinned toned.
I agree.Despite what the race baiters and general Liberals here think, I agree with everything you say here.
But when an incident does occur, we should also look at all the facts before making an automatic judgement of the actions of the police. Ever since Michael Brown, every incident has been turned into a nightmare for cops. Sure, some cases of abuse were obvious. However, some were not. For example...what happened in the van with Freddie Gray?
I don't know.
The people of Baltimore don't know.
Marilyn Mosby doesn't completely know (and probably doesn't care, considering her attitude in the case).
Despite the fact that nobody knew WTF happened in the van, Baltimore went up in flames.
Cops should behave themselves. But civilians need to do the same. And if they do, the cops won't land on them and thus there will be no problems.
The crime was trespassing since pool rules are maximum two guest allowed unless you register a party ahead of time, which these folks did not do. Cop did his job.
What happens is that you are going to get all officers standing by idly and societal disintegration.
Exactly what the radical left wants. How ****ing stupid does one have to be to think cops are the problem in this country? Probably the same people who think the US military is the root of all evil.
Let ISIS do their thang says the liberal. Dont yell at criminals says the liberal.
I feel bad for people that have to put up with young punks. Cops used to be the ones who were expected to take care of it. Now we are expected to just stand at the sideline while they dindunuffin.
See Baltimore as a perfect example. The BPD don't want to do their job anymore for fear of appearing "racist". Result? 43 dead in 1 month.
You're not a good cop. There's good cops, probably the vast majority, and there's bad cops, probably the minority, if you have a problem getting ride of the bad cops, then you have issues.
A woman promoted the free pool party at the gated community on social media for the purpose of selling tickets to another event she was promoting. She and her mother had moved to the gated community from Chicago. She hired a DJ who also promoted a "free pool party" on social media. She never attempted to get approval for the event from the homeowners association. When people arrived in car loads, they could not get in because you have to have a gate pass to get in. They began climbing and jumping over the fence. The woman who promoted the pool party and her mother admitted they could not control the crowd. The residents of the gated community had young children at the pool. The DJ was playing inappropriate music very loudly. The security guards tried to make the trespassing teens and young adults leave and was attacked. Parents both black and white called 911 seeking help for massive chaos, fighting, and property destruction. The policeman in the video was the sole responder at the height of the melee. He attempted to control the situation by having everyone remain seated on the ground. Several teens refused to comply and repeatedly attempted to run. The first person arrested was a white female The video is 7 minutes of an hour to hour and half of mass chaos.
The Facts Behind The McKinney Pool Fiasco – Part II | The Last Refuge
You're preaching to the choir. There are people in this forum who have never met a hispanic much less interacted with one outside of listening to Gloria Stefan once a year when they visit Florida for their retirement. However, as with everything, the internet gives the entire world a podium to both advocate and deny.
You'll find that in this forum there are quite a few racial apologists, racialists and racists. The type whose first reaction will be to say that there are racist people in the North too. Then there are those who are more subtle about their positions. However they get caught every once in a while calling entire races 'savages' or 'less than humans'. Then you have the funny racists. The guys who will deny the contributions made by people from other races, so that they can take credit for the accomplishments of people who came before them. You know, these are the 'personal responsibility' types. Finally, you have the blatantly retarded racists. These are the people who deny evolution, but will swear by intelligence theories that entirely depend on evolution to make their case.
Anyways, welcome to the forum. Have a nice stay, don't become a hack, eat your greens.
While it is true that this jackhole does do takeovers, this jackhole it turns out, is the same person. She is a 20 years old and is self employed doing such events. The actual party was for the community only and was planned. Some jackhole who is infamous for crashing events like this sent out invitations to crash this one. She's known for it. The crashers jumped the fence.
The crashers saying they were invited is a teenage dodge. They knew they were crashing the party and didn't belong there.
Some folks will just never understand that. The cop didn't harm the two guys. He pulled out his gun, as two guys were coming aggressively at him from the side/back in a tense situation not under control. Those two guys ran off, he put his gun away. It's justified.
Yeah man he should have shot them. They didn't do what he said, so everything he did was justified.
I doubt they were taught better. Had they been, it is likely they would not have acted that way. There is also absolutely no excuse for juveniles to act like that either.
Kids today are simply never told "No". If they act up in school the teachers can't touch them. There is often nobody at home to discipline them and there is a whole passel of "Social Justice" advocates out there telling them that the only reason they might do something wrong is because society hates them and holds them back. This kind of crap is the result. If you take someone who has never been held accountable for anything and then suddenly change the rules they tend to lash out.
I saw two of her interviews and in both of them when she goes to describe the supposed aggressiveness from others, she looks up and to her right. And does so repeatedly throughout the interview. She says she was physically involved in the initial altercation. That's absolutely "involved".
Actually, she explains how the handcuffs happened in the video right here - New video shows different angle of pool party incident
As an aside, I love it when she says "half the kids weren't even involved". That pretty much nails down that the other half were involved.
You spout that crap now....until you need a cop.
They won't be "freaking idiots" or "twits" then, will they?
No. It was not a pool party. It was a gathering that was against the regulations.I understand more about what transpired...basically it was a pool party hosted by a Black teen that got out of control.
:dohI'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but there's another video (approximate 12 minutes long) that captures more of what transpired at the scene than what's been reported.
(Even though I see you later changed your position on this I will still reply to such statements[SUP](*)[/SUP] as they need to be exposed for what they are, biased bs.)The cop that's the focus of the video clearly attempted to round up as many Black teens as he could see. That much is evident by the fact that off all the people gathered around - both Whites and Blacks - he only goes after the Black kids.
Irrelevant. Now, before anyone says anything stupid like, "Well, they shouldn't have been mouthing off or being disruptive or disrespectful, etc., etc" the Black boys he makes sit down curbside weren't running or saying anything at the time he confronts them.
[SUP](*)[/SUP]In fact, just prior to the incident with the teen-aged Black girl, the cop approaches two Black male teens who were walking away minding their own business and he stops them and even places one of them in cuffs. Why? Could this have been a case of racial profiling, i.e., "I don't know which Black person caused the problem. So, I'm going to round up every Black person I see." It's possible...really can't dispute it since the only people this cop seemed to go after were the Black kids. And there were plenty of White teens standing around as well.
1. This is you not paying attention to the video or to why the police were called.(Yes! He was very out of control especially with his language not to mention his aggressive actions.) But the kids being by-standers and calling out the officer's inappropriate behavior is no excuse for the officer to go around rounding up every Black kid he saw.
While that is the 20 year old's account (passing of a pass) the other accounts were that they were jumping over the fence. Which just shows this girl is trying to dishonestly spin the story. But when you consider how other teens were trying to sneak their friends into the pool area by passing their invitation/pass over the poor area fence, it kinda makes sense that they were the only people being pursued.
No it really wasn't.That said, this cop's behavior was still uncalled for.
It is pretty obvious he tripped. Also, what was with the ninja roll?
Bull**** they were.Cop was justified, IMO. Kids were being aggressive and threatening.
Why are liberals talking about something that didn't happen? No, what the liberals are saying is don't have the cops put their knee on the necks of teenage girls who aren't being violent.
:lamoI'm still wondering if the white woman that started the fight and struck a minor is going to be contacted.
You keep getting corrected, yet you keep spewing the same bs.See now that makes a tiny bit more sense. The host invited mostly black people to her event. Then seperate people crashed it. And everyone just decides to blame ALL the darkies. Like all black people are instantly on the same team.
I think what this really comes down to is host threw an open party for ANY and ALL classmates and the white people didint like it. So technically they were invited, just not invited by everyone and not invited properly because she didnt have permission to host (i assume). And everyone was quick to treat all the blacks as a mob whos only goal was to sneak into a place they were not allowed. Even the cavalier cop. You can tell many of the kids were bewildered at the cops actions as they kept saying "whhhhaaattt the ****kk???" as he Paul Blart'd around.
:naughtyGuess I can agree to that. Still think its odd that the cop only targeted black people though.
1. Being unprofessional is not criminal. The way he was talking to the kids, and the language he was using toward the kids was inappropriate. Cops should be professional when working, and noone should talk to kids who aren't really doing anything wrong that way.
:dohLiving in Texas for over 50 years, I can tell you that it is one racist state, especially around Plano, McKinney or Vidor. This should be evident in seeing all the racist here who see nothing wrong with this cops behavior.
Do you or do you not realize that it was a black guy calling them thugs? You mean black kids?
Apparently you do not understand he is playing politics and CYA.Listen to Chief's & Mayor's press conference where they're condemning him for violating department policies & practices, and further stating: "He was out-of-control from the moment he arrived on the scene"!
- it's live on CNN right now.
Unless you believe your judgement is superior to the Chief of Police?
Mentally ill people can be more dangerous than those who are not.And just to add a bit of fodder to those that would like to present police beatings & abusive force as a rare thing from a far minority, another incident comes rolling in on CNN usurping the breaking coverage of the pool party officer having that just resigned - I couldn't make this stuff up; I actually was confused for moment trying to keep track of these incidents.
From YouTube, since it doesn't appear to be up on the CNN site:
YouTube - 'Salinas California Cops Beat Mentally ill Man (VIDEO')
Apparently, this is how we treat the mentally ill.
Before deciding to defend the officers by using the ploy that the video is not showing the full context, you may keep in mind the Mayor of Salinas has just come out moments ago to explicitly state that there is no justification for the actions on the video, irregardless of it's limited context.
So here we go again with another one of these supposed rare incidents ...
Your comment is indicative of biased ignorance.Don't you find it odd, that, given the fact that a large majority of people now have video cameras on them 24/7, that we are seeing all kinds of examples of police abuse?
Hint: They have been doing this for years!!!! And now, we see it, and we are outraged because we refused to believe it before.
