Controversial Pearl Jam show poster featuring dead Donald Trump

Pearl Jam have faced backlash after a recent gig poster depicted the White House on fire, with Donald Trump’s rotting corpse being slowly devoured by a bald eagle on the White House lawn.

at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium was also a fundraiser for the re-election campaign of Democrat Senator Jon Tester.

I am not going to post the picture of this despicable cartoon, however, I find it amazing Tester has not denounced this horrific poster.

Oh its fine. All that does is paint the band and any of the mindless leftist twats that act in a similar way in a very negative light. If they are trying to drive away thinking reasoned liberals, leftists should keep it up because they are doing a swell job.

The insane hatred of Trump really has nothing to do with Trump. If Cruz had won the nomination and beat Hillary, the same mindless leftist twats that are in constant hate melt down mode over Trump would be doing the same thing with Cruz. Or Rubio. Or Mother Teresa. Its a tantrum...its what happens when spoiled pathetic children dont get their way. Its annoying when children behave in such a manner. When adults do it...its a weird mixture of disgusting, depressing, and yet, delightfully funny all at once.
 
Its a shame about Pearl Jam. Such potential. I have a mint condition limited run recording of their first live broadcast...only 107 original copies produced. But they went stagnant.

This sort of thing is nothing new, people were hanging Obama in effigy last administration. Don't know if I quite saw this level of outrage against it back then.

And I'm sure there's been plenty of cover art or other things depicting harm to a sitting President. It's not nice, but if it's not an actual threat, then there's not much to do about it. I don't necessarily like or support it, but there's nothing to be done about it. I think people getting bent out of shape because it's Trump have short memories.

Seriously, what's so devastating about the image? I am on the record as saying what Griffin did was out of line, but is the right so fragile that even this is too much? I'd say whackjobs being mainstream is common to both sides at the moment.

Well firstly, I'd note that there has not been a president so divisive and corrosive as Trump has been thus far. Secondly, I don't know if this sort of thing is "mainstream", I haven't seen it on whole, this is the first of it. So, I think the "mainstream" bit is just a propaganda to spin a narrative while ignoring the rest of history.

Oh come on. This was going on 6 months before the election. And you can claim its Trump being divisive all you like, but the facts tell a far different story. People are completely mentally unhinged, and be honest...most of them cant even answer why. Go back and look at the ***** hat brigade. They are STILL using the same lie today that they used then to justify their hatred. And maybe thats the key. When you have to lie to make your claims, it doesnt condemn your target...it condemns yourself.

We are having a 'discussion'. There is no level of "whats so wrong" beyond is it right or wrong. YOU make the claim it is out of line...I said essentially...I dont give a ****. So why are you asking ME what is so wrong with it?
