Consumer spending is flattening. Construction and manufacturing seem to be contracting/about to. Employment looks shaky. Trump's new tax is here.

So MAGAs and "libertarians" (LOL), what's your solution? Daisies and rainbows?

Or should we just wait for Trump to lie his ass off about the economy (because that is coming)?

Btw, is this the greatest economy/golden age that Trump swore he'd bring to the US?

And THIS is a great point right in the tip of this Trump disaster...

You just keep hoping for disaster don't you. Just think, we are barely halfway into the first one of 4 years. You have to keep hoping for 3 1/2 more years that Trump isn't successful. He doesn't have to get it right today, or tomorrow, he has 3 1/2 years. In that time you have to keep hoping he fails and thus America fails.

Voters don't do the long game. He has 10-12 months max.

"Seems to be" and "looks shaky". Let me know when it's actual.

Data in hand or not, I'm gonna go ahead and say it: the MAGA recession is here. It took only 7 months to slow growth and boost unemployment. MAG-IC.

It may be the one thing that prevents us from becoming a totalitarian state.

I won't say that there's no strategy, but I will say that I'm not seeing any real evidence of coherent strategy. Remember this going forward. There are people in his administration with goals, but the few strategic thinkers they have are people who are committed to destroying things. Russell Vought, for example. Stephen Miller is another. These are people who were brought in to destroy the government that serves the public. We don't get GDP growth and good things by just breaking stuff. Vought and Miller are strategic thinkers, but they're just destroying. There's no rebuild. There's nothing in the place of what they destroy.

Remind us Did Trump promise to deliver economic wonderment in 4 years after a unnecessary recession, or was it all about the wonder starting on day 1? I'm sorta remembering lots of "day 1" promises???

The President could care less.

Getting lower interest rates is the goal, even if the country self immolates…..

Trump is so stupid. all he had to do was nothing and then take credit for the solidly growing Biden economy. But no! He has to screw everything up.

You guys should stock up on a bunch of these steaks because the prices are going to go up.
