Minus his gun fetish and a few other weird things, Massie and I have alot in common (mostly fiscal matters). Just like one time Rand Paul and I had some things in common. Justin Amash is another who matches much of my political beliefs.

So Massie and Trump have been butting heads lately. Massie did not vote for the ugly bill. Now, Massie is pushing for the release of the "Epstein files".

I think this might be one guy with testicles in Congress. So in this fight of Trump v. Massie, I'm Team Massie.

Wow! A GOP congressman with a spine! How did that happen?

Oh well, another one bites the dust (ala Liz Cheney).

I don’t agree with him on much, but I respect and admire his courage.

Speaking as a Blue Dog, I can find common ground with Massie.

He's right, it's what MAGA voted for!

Thomas Massie is the best member of Congress right now.

My "favorite" was Justin Amash, but MAGA purged him.

I never thought I'd say this, but occasionally Marjorie Taylor Green is also the broken clock that's right twice a day.

Amash is from my state. He ran for the GOP nom for Senate last year. Didn't bother voting in the primary because I knew he had no chance.

Massie isn't playing around!

I'll join you on this.

Because Taco gave them their marching orders, and that supercedes intelligence, integrity, ethics, or courage.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, you’re absolutely correct. But if you look back on history, congressional members of the president’s party during today’s modern political era of polarization, the great divide, the super, mega, ultra-high partisanship have been to use your words, “little bitches,” to the president of their party. Trump and the republicans are much more overt in this while in the past, democrats were much more covert. In trying to give the president everything he wants and how he wants it which included more power, members of congress of the president’s party have become more a part of the administration than members of congress.

There is no moral high ground in this. Republicans, however, have taken this to a new low where even the appearance of morality or doing what’s right has been discarded during the Trump regime. Personally, I have no use for either major party. But what this does along with Texas in their mid-decade redistricting has definitely made the democrats the lesser of two evils. But who’s to say once the democrats regain power that they won’t follow the same path of Trump and the GOP? Trump has set the precedence, the way this works the other party will use that precedence to do the same while adding more. That’s the way these things work. What a mess.
