So...the deep state that's still in the FBI found a non-issue they can exploit and the media is running with it. Not much of a surprise, is it?

shrug...

The propaganda continues.

The hearing today was wild.

Corey Booker

It will take the FBI fourteen years to replace the senior FBI agents, many with 20 years of experience, that Patel 'reassigned' to lesser tasks. These agents were reassigned, or terminated, because they failed to show loyalty to Trump. Kash Patel took orders from Stephen Miller as far as firing specific agencies. Kash Patel shifted the priorities of reassigned FBI agents to pursue Trump's immigration agenda. 20% of these agents have been assigned to low-level positions assisting ICE immigration enforcement. There are no agents assigned to investigate foreign and domestic terrorism. Agents that previously investigated human trafficking, have been reassigned to immigration enforcement. Kash Patel picked up a piece of paper, to turn his eyes away from Corey Booker, and pretended to be reading whatever he was holding. Patel disbanded the entire task force that deals with election interference, foreign influence, and public corruption. Who benefits from this? Corrupt people, criminals and Putin benefits from all of it. "Generational destruction of the nation's premier law enforcement agency."

While he was being browbeaten by Corey Booker, Kash Patel looked down, shuffling papers and seemingly ignoring Booker. Kash Patel finally responded, "That rant, of false information, does not bring this country together". There was a shouting match!

I dislike Corny Bonkers, but even i think that is out of line.

Krash just made things 5x more difficult for himself with that one sentence.

I don't get this. From the first day people were going after Patel over this investigation. Then the FBI gets the guy, and they still go after him!

I don't doubt that there is reason to fire Patel, but come on. The guy isn't being paid to tank investigations into shooters of right-wing speakers. He's being paid to tank investigations into friends of Trump. Find one of them and THEN start complaining.
