The entire exercise is silly - there's no comparison between the President saying "It is someone's fault" and an average supporter of that President saying the same thing.Ok then. Let's see some quotes from Bush's "defenders" who blamed Clinton. I'm sure it will be no where close to the blame Bush from Obama and his "defenders" but you'll at least have some proof that it did happen.
Speaking of fools...
In every one of the things that The Obama, in his 2008 campaign, declared 'wrong' about GWB, The Obama has been worse.
At least Bush will not point fingers at others and blame others the way Obama does
What about the five trillion plus that President Bush added. I do beleive he also was the one to established the first bail out on Oct 3rd <hushed tone> because that was 3 days after when it counted on the 2008 debt totals. The fiscal year starts on Sept 30th. That made the 700billion bailout appear as though President Obama spent it in 2009. <end of hushed tones> That brings President Bush's total to over SIX TRILLION.
All of the debt the country incured between President George Washington and the end of President Clinton added up to around 5.5 Trillion. President Bush Spent over 6 Trillion. I just dont get this. I dont want President Obama to spend it either so where were you during the last presidency. The country really could have used your help
You mean with his bail out of the airline industry?
Ok then. Let's see some quotes from Bush's "defenders" who blamed Clinton. I'm sure it will be no where close to the blame Bush from Obama and his "defenders" but you'll at least have some proof that it did happen.
Who cares about number? Search the discussions here. Do a search. The fact is they did blame Clinton. Hell, they still do this day.
Hell their still bitchen about FDR.
in the john lennon thread they are still bitchin about Lincoln. :lamo
Yet Obama is on his way to triple it
Considering how highly regulated the airline industry is (having their own govt agency), it's not surprising that the govt has to keep bailing them out.
Who cares about number? Search the discussions here. Do a search. The fact is they did blame Clinton. Hell, they still do this day.
The difference is I am not defending President Obama. I dont want him to spend it either. Where were you when President Bush was spending our money. Where you complaining then or just now that your party is not in power.
How is any of that relevant to what I said, and the topic at hand?I am not a big fan of President Obamas platform but . . .
These are direct quotes from President Bushs Campaign brochure in the 2000 race.
THis is a story that says GWB blamed Clinton.Bush is retired so that comment is inappropriate to the discussion as well as misleading as Bush whined much:

George W. Bush, retreating to familiar ground, has blamed the Clinton administration for North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. But the official who brokered the Clinton-era deal with North Korea called the idea “ludicrous,” and defended his efforts. Bush Blames Clinton Again - Truthdig
Bush Blamed More Than Clinton for Failure to Capture Bin Laden
I had a Tea Partier yell at me while I was having a beer with a friend that 9/11 happened while Clinton was in office. Not blaming him for not getting Bin Laden when he could, mind you - but insisting to the point of screaming - that Clinton was in office.
She'd gone so far overboard with her "Bushiness" that when I tried to point out the difference, she put a finger in my face and called me a stupid mother-****er.
I love people who are blatantly factually incorrect who have the cojones to call others stupid mother-****ers.
Of course, I should get used to it - since that's going to be like half of Congress.
How is any of that relevant to what I said, and the topic at hand?
Obama ran on 'fixing' the 'wrongs' of the Bush administration; thus far, he has only made those things worse. Given that, If you believe that Bush was 'bad', you must then believe that The Obama is 'worse'.
You missed the point. I'll try to simplify. Are you serious? You blast President Obama for his campaign promises in post entitled "Was Bush better president than Obama?" and I show that President Bush failed in almost every one of his and you ask how its relevant. What platform do you think President Bush ran on. . "Well things are going pretty well its time someone comes along and Fs things up."
Certainly. Start here:Can you please be more spasific what President Obama has done worse than President Bush. Maybe a topic with an example.
You missed the point. I'll try to simplify.
The Obama ran on the platform of "I will fix what GWB did wrong".
Since elected, he's done all of those things that GWB did, just to a far worse degree.
So... if you believe that GWB, because of the things he did wrong, was a crappy Preasident, must conclude that The Obama, who was worse at all those things, is a worse President that GWB.
Certainly. Start here:
Respect My Authoritah - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - 6/15/2010 - Video Clip | Comedy Central
Be sure to watch the whole thing.
So your entire argument for President Obama being worse than President Obama is centered around an 8:30 min comedy show clip.
Thats sad.
The difference is I am not defending President Obama. I dont want him to spend it either. Where were you when President Bush was spending our money. Where you complaining then or just now that your party is not in power.

First, I see you didnt respond to the substance of the clip. I am not surprised, for to do so would force you to admit my correctness. So your entire argument for President Obama being worse than President Obama is centered around an 8:30 min comedy show clip.
Fail to respond to clip. . you being arrogent. . . insult my ability to comprehend english. Are you trying to insult me?? Come on you can do better than that.First, I see you didnt respond to the substance of the clip. I am not surprised, for to do so would force you to admit my correctness.
Second, in my saying "start here", it shoudl be clear to anyone familiar with the English language that said clip was NOT my entire argument, just the beginning.
So... my statement stands:
If you believe that GWB, because of the things he did wrong, was a crappy Preasident, you must conclude that The Obama, who was worse at all those things, is a worse President than GWB.
