The only Asian country I've seen it was Burma. China doesn't use military patrols except in trouble regions.

I would suspect NK as a culprit but who knows what's going on there.

Please tell me you didn't go there, wherever there is.

They're literally ecstatic, cheering it on hoping for even higher levels of military escalation, some even claiming they themselves want to take-up their arms and be "deputized" & "militia" in going into the "enemy territories" to "clean them out" - as part of "Trump's Patriots' Army".

France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands come to mind. China, Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia, etc. All of them have a gendarmerie and it’s pretty common to see them when you’re out and about in cities. Tourists love taking snaps with them.

79% Oppose Trump's order
69% Strongly Oppose it
61% feel Less Safe

Where is the support for this? Why do this to a vulnerable populace?

It was never about crime, which is at historic lows. It was the first step in setting up a police state, to use against critics and suppress protests.
