Wait! I thought Biden said MAGA was garbage! It looks like all the polls say the Dems are. (but Trump... but Trump... but Trump...) :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

CNN senior political data reporter Harry Enten marveled on Friday at how the Democratic Party has not only failed to find a new leader, but continues to disappoint voters.

CNN News Central host Kate Bolduan spoke about former Vice President Kamala Harris breaking her recent silence by speaking in a lengthy interview with late-night host Stephen Colbert, Thursday. Bolduan observed that Harris spoke about her choice not to run for the governorship of California and left the door open for another presidential run in 2028.

But Enten argued the Democrats’ search for a new leader is long from over, suggesting the party remains "historically divided" over the proper path forward to the point that they are "messier than a hoarder’s basement."

"The water is quite warm. If you‘re a Democrat potentially thinking about running in 2028, jump right in, because at this point there is no frontrunner," Enten said.

"One of the reasons why there is no frontrunner," he said, "Nobody wants to put anybody up at the top of their ballot list because, at this particular point, the Democratic brand is in the basement."

He continued by citing three very similar polls, suggesting the Democratic Party is perceived as "total and complete garbage in the mind of the American public. The Democratic Party‘s net favorable rating, record lows in all three. Wall Street Journal, 30 points underwater. CNN, 26 points underwater. Gallup, 26 points underwater."

But the driving force for those polls, he claimed, comes from within the Democratic base itself.

"That is being driven in large part by discontent within the Democratic base. The Democratic base wants something different," he said. "We‘ll ultimately end up seeing who they choose. It will be quite the thing who ultimately gets the rose."

Nobody's going to "jump in" right now because the DNC Elites haven't told them to.

I’d rather be part of the party that can't get their shit together than be part of the party that elects and champions liars, sexual abusers, pedophiles, sycophants, social media whores, grifters, etc.
History is not going to be kind to MAGA and MAGA supporters.

I’d rather be part of a party that is a mess than the party that protects pedophiles.

Dems are upset with their own party for not doing more to stand up to Trump. They are also outperforming 2024 by an average of 30 points in elections this year. 🤷‍♂️

There's also this:

Its one of the reasons that the US is in decline right now.

Its simple:

The trumptardlican party are all sharing the same 2 brain cells at this point.

Their "platform" is whatever Crooked donnie says it is on any particular day. They can be shrieking like banshees for the Epstein Files, but then the next day they don't care about the Epstein Files, if thats what Crooked donnie tells them to do.
Trumptardlicans are mindless zombies, parroting and repeating whatever their Reality TeeVee Messiah tells them.

One day they can barely afford groceries, the next day they shriek mindlessly in support of higher grocery prices. Crazy shit.

And the Democrat party consists of everyone that isnt a trumptardlican. Damn straight its "messy". But I know which side I'm on. (y)

I thought MAGA believed CNN was a left-wing rag that was fake news and lies. All of a sudden, they are the word! Make up your minds.

It's actually the Dems' inability to resist Trump by adopting progressive policy positions that is giving them a bad reputation. The most popular Dems happen to be the most progressive. While the most right-leaning Dems are the least popular.

Yep. I agree that a party that can't win an election against the likes of Trump is indeed complete garbage by default. They failed to keep him from stinking up the place and I hold them in very low regard because of it. That doesn't mean I'm going to run out and vote for some Trump apologist Republican though...and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that.

He continued by citing three very similar polls, suggesting the Democratic Party is perceived as "total and complete garbage in the mind of the American public.

That's exactly what it is. Let's hope it never recovers.

I’m proud to be a Democrat, and I believe a lot of this is a consequence of Trump, Trump supporters, and Republicans lying about Democrats 24/7. Democrats should hold Republicans to account for their lies and constantly remind the public how Republicans are screwing them over with tax cuts for the wealthy and tax increases for everyone else.

The most popular Dems happen to be the most progressive. While the most right-leaning Dems are the least popular.

That's true, and it's a good thing, imo.

It's actually the Dems' inability to resist Trump by adopting progressive policy positions that is giving them a bad reputation.

That's wrong, but don't stop believin'.

or it is way to ****ing early to give your opposition that time to find dirt.

Democrats badmouth project 2025, but at least Republicans have a plan. Even a bad plan is better than no plan because a bad plan can incrementally be refined and improved. This isn't even politics, its basic organization, planning and management.

Yea. Planning to take over the US Government. They've already taken over the courts, now the rest. That's a great plan for a democracy. Destroying American institutions and promoting the privatization of as much as they can get away with.

Make the Oligarchs rich again. Great Plan. It's all one big power and money grab at the expense of the everyday taxpayer.
