That's nice for Canada.
So Canada has been lying for years to the world about this grave sin! But they're in good company with China and India.
Er.....
It is nice for Canada that it's climate is getting less cold.
But but they're messing up the environment...
Yeah, all those Polar bears that are making more Polar bears since the ice has retreated and the seals have to use the land...
All that frozen prairie that mow produces loads of food...
And the Maple syrup industry has mostly moved to Canada as well.
Long live the warming.
Stop it! I'm not going to listen.
McKenna has been rebutting many premiers from different provinces (who opposed the Feds imposing Carbon tax on their provinces), by saying "Climate Change Has No Borders!" That's the feds official justification for imposing their Carbon Tax, by hook or by crook!
CLIMATE CHANGE KNOWS NO BORDERS?
well, duh? Obviously, THIS climate change, does respect borders!
Just the day after Carbon tax was imposed, how convenient that a report would be timely "LEAKED" to the press.

Canada warming at twice the global rate, leaked report finds | CBC News
Lol, it's just in Canada! It doesn't say.......North America. It says, CANADA!
Is it happening on the US side of the border? Nope. Only in Canada!
This report proves Catherine Mckenna is either lying when she said, climate change knows no borders, or it does (as this report proves).
Of course, it's highly likely, they're both full of............. s***!
Boy, just like SNC-Lavalin....the Liberals can't get their story straight!
California Town Declares Climate Emergency 4 Months After State’s Deadliest Wildfire | HuffPost...city council members in the neighboring town of Chico voted this week to declare a climate emergency that threatens their lives and well-being.
Chico’s emergency declaration calls on the city to eliminate all greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2030, among other demands that echo those included in the Green New Deal bill state lawmakers introduced in February. ...
We've known that the arctic is warming at least twice as fast as the rest of the world for years now. They keep whispering about how this is 'confidential, leaked information' which is obviously a way to clickbait and make more ad revenue.
Canada’s ‘Climate Barbie’ Catherine McKenna Mistakes CO2 for PollutionCanada’s ‘Climate Barbie’ Catherine McKenna Mistakes CO2 for Air Pollution
In a tweet Tuesday, Catherine McKenna, confused the issue of air pollution with emission of greenhouse gases such as CO2. “Canadians know that pollution isn’t free,” the minister wrote. “We see the costs in storms, floods, and wildfires — that’s why we’ve announced we’re putting a price on pollution. It’s good for the environment and it’s good for the economy.”
Among the six solutions proposed by WHO for combatting air pollution, not one of them touches on carbon dioxide emissions, for the simple reason that CO2 is not a pollutant and is not harmful to human health.
Unlike pollutants, carbon dioxide is odorless, colorless, and most importantly, non-toxic. Human beings expel carbon dioxide with every breath they take (without polluting), and breathe it in with every lungful of air they inhale — to no ill effect.
Carbon dioxide is no more a pollutant than oxygen.
Why is Loblaw getting $12M to install new refrigerators? McKenna under fire for new funding - National | Globalnews.caWhy is Loblaw getting $12M to install new refrigerators? McKenna under fire for new funding
Environment Minister Catherine McKenna is defending the decision to give up to $12 million in funding to Loblaw so it can install more energy-efficient fridges.
That comes just a year and a half after the company fought against raising the minimum wage, admitted to a 14-year bread price-fixing scheme
and ended up in a tax court battle last year that saw it ordered to pay back taxes worth roughly $368 million related to a banking subsidiary in the Caribbean.
YAAA!
Largest glaciers in Iceland growing for first time in decades - Ice Age Now
Oops...maybe not eh?
That's not how glaciers work.
If you put an ice cube in the freezer, left the freezer door open until half of it melted, and then shut the freezer door, the ice cube would stop melting, but it wouldn't grow. It would just stay frozen. The same applies for glaciers. The temperature determines the speed at which they melt (and shrink), while precipitation determines the rate at which they grow, as glaciers are essentially slow-moving, frozen rivers of compacted snow.
This is the precipitation data for the last several decades in Höfn, a coastal city which sits below Vatnajökull, the largest icecap in Iceland:

This station, which is closest, is missing the 90s data, but browsing through other stations reveals the same general pattern found here: precipitation levels that stayed between 1,000 and 1,500 millimeters. However, since 2014 they've had freakishly high precipitation, with all but one year being higher than any of the previously recorded years, especially 2014 which blew the previous record out at over 2,000 mm. It even mentions this in a tiny footnote at the end of the article which you linked. More snow = more ice. Temperatures have not dropped, the opposite is true. This is a case of snow being deposited on top of the glaciers faster than it is melting off.

The challenge to the carbon tax from Sask has been shutdown by the Sask supreme court. Which stated it is within the federal governments rights to do so. The Alberta and Ontario challenged are likely to fail as well.
