Thirteen years since September 11, 2001, some revelations of a joint congressional inquiry into the 9/11 attacks remain classified. But some lawmakers argue the secret pages reveal little about national security and a great deal about Saudi Arabia's role in the attacks. Lawrence Wright, whose article “The Twenty-Eight Pages” appears in The New Yorker, talks to Jeffrey Brown.
Something I have said on this forum numerous times. To include how they funded and armed al Qaeda even back in Somalia when I was there, and many other places around the world. It's the worst kept secret I know of.

Look like the funding to some of the hijackers directly implicates the state of Saudi Arabia. These documents have been withheld for the public some time, because Saudi Arabia is a "ally" in the War on Terror.

I doubt there's much evidence that Saudi government funded anti-American terrorists.
It depends upon how well the record has been sanitized, how much evidence destroyed.

Saudi Arabia is said to be the world's largest source of funds for Salafi jihadist terrorist militant groups, such as al-Qaeda, the Afghan Taliban, the Pakistan Taliban, ISIS and Lashkar-e-Taiba in South Asia, and donors in Saudi Arabia constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide, according to Hillary Clinton.[78] According to a secret December 2009 paper signed by the US secretary of state, "Saudi Arabia remains a critical financial support base for al-Qaida, the Taliban, LeT and other terrorist groups."[79]

To really combat terror, end support for Saudi Arabia
Ramped up rhetoric on security makes no sense so long as the west cosies up to dictatorships that support fundamentalism.

Like I said, there's no real evidence that Saudi Arabia's official policy to fund terrorist groups. That idea has been propagandized by the America haters since September 12, 2001.
Some rebuttal to the documented and sourced articles provided you that you closed your eyes to, plugged your ears and turned away from, it doesn't serve your hanging by your fingernails extreme right edge meme. Stay in the darkness apdst, it's safer for you there anyway.
Is anyone really suprised of this?
Half the terror organisations of the world are proably funded by these sand savages.
There's nothing in any of those links that proves that the Saudi government funds any jihadist orginization.
They only give lip service when it comes to the War on Terror. But wait!? Why the **** are we "buddy buddy" with them... Oh wait!

I've always been kind of struck by the cozy relationship with the bin Laden family, and how they were never questioned about Osama, and how Saudi's were the only civilians to get air clearance...
What's that all about? Michael Moore says its about oil money and the Bushes, but I suspect something more sinister
I doubt any of that info ever existed. You can't keep anything secret now-a-days.
What we're seeing, are Saudis participating in and supporting terrorism, not the Saudi government. Where the confusion comes in, I'm not sure.
