Not surprising. Technological advances are used to spy on you guys. Drones are already doing the job and now appliances.

Smart appliances and devices connected to the web, the coming Internet of Things, will be like Americans planted bugging devices in their homes. The CIA is looking forward to such an opportunity for mass monitoring. In the not-too-distant future, household appliances and web-connected devices will offer the government unfettered access to spy on citizens.

Noooo! Tin foil hat time! That's almost as bad as my crazy, THC using relative, thinking "On Star" in your car is so the government can spy on you and know where you are! I hear the theme music for Twilight Zone in my head. :doh

Nah. Insurance company wants to know if your eating disorder claim is for real.

The CIA won't give info to an insurance company.

But seriously why the **** do you care if your appliance is connected to the internet.

At this point if they want to know something about you... they're gonna find out anyways.

Do these appliances include vibrators? Battery and/or plug-ins?
